So, I was thinking about a way to decrease warnings. Now, this'll probably be hard to explain, so lets go.
Now, for starters, there are 3 punishments for certain amounts of warnings. The first one is 30 warnings equals 30 days of being banned. The second is 40 days banned for 40 warnings, and 50 is a permanent ban. As someone who has faced the first punishment, I can tell you, I learned my lesson. But anyway, lets get started with the original idea.

The reasoning is because I can understand the first (2) punishments, but the permanent seems too much; but that's the staff's decision, but consider that you could (slowly, very, very slowly) decrease your warnings.
Some ways could be . . .

1. To report people successfully, (the report gets accepted). It might motivate people to report more; and rid the community of pretty rude people, hackers, and exploiters.

2. Maybe buying a rank, or anything from the store. I know MCPZ isn't one of those 15,000 people daily servers, so it doesn't have an influx of money as large as said 15,000 people servers. But, maybe buying something from the store so it helps the server, could reduce a few warnings.

3. Participating in art competitions, building competitions, and miscellaneous competitions (like the Easter egg hunt, and maybe even the regular build battle hosted on the server,). Maybe the warnings only decrease if you win said competitions.

Now; I would suggest more. but some of these could be easily exploited. Some of the scrapped ideas I had were; spending time on the server, (people, despite afk pools being banned, people still build them, could simply sit in one all night; racking up time spent), and winning games, (people, despite it still being banned, could team in murder; downgrade; and freeze tag).

But, now I'm suggesting the amount of warnings deducted per thing.

For the first suggestion, maybe 1 warning per (accepted) report. So in turn, people would have to work for it.

For the second, maybe 3 warnings for the basic name in murder, 5 warnings for VIP, 8 warnings for VIP+, (by the way, I'm not sure if this should count for already bought ranks; or not), 9 for Elite, and 10 for Elite+. These are just rough estimates; I'm tired and I can't really think.

For the third; maybe for the regular build battle hosted, 1-2 warnings would be deducted. For something like the Easter egg hunt, maybe 10, (being as the numbers for the winner were in the thousands, maybe even ten thousand last year). Something like the art competitions being 5-ish, as not many people enter those compared to the Easter egg hunt; build battles; and build competitions. For the build competitions, maybe 7 or so. (The Easter egg rule in my opinion would apply to the mob-killing event from Halloween).

This is just a rough idea, so if you have any criticism, or suggestions, please comment them!

OKAY NEVER MIND, MY MIND IS CHANGED.

Makes no sense because if you're caught breaking a rule knowingly then you have to pay lol.

So people who play a lot (me) get a advantage on the first one since I see about 10 possible reports per day if I feel like reporting. Number 2 is basically pay to unwarn pretty abusive and problems against the EULA. Number 1 sound good yet doesn't warnings go down in time or at least they should.

Overall -1 too many advantages to reduce warnings and 30 warnings is a lot. I only had like 5 in my whole time of playing for 3 to 2 years. Then again if warnings aren't erasable then I would go for number 1 option only.

I don't think this is a good idea, firstly because you're basically buying the removal of your warning, secondly the 50 warning perm ban thing is there because you have broken the rules, 50 times, which does not show loyalty to the server and therefore it's not necessary that you stay and keep causing trouble. Finally, if you were able to get warnings removed by these things then it would make being break the rules more frequently as they know there is a way for them to get that warning removed. For example I could find a player who is swearing and screenshot it, then go into creative and swear in chat - this would get me a warning, but then I can go report that player and get it removed. This is why I don't think it will work.

Yeah I don't think It's a good idea either. Mainly because you won't learn from your mistakes as @Wbl said you can break the rules and get the warning removed by reporting another player breaking the rules.

1 - This would create an influx of both false and true reports, causing staff to have to work overtime.

2 - EULA

3 - So..you want to make them learn their lesson by playing games? This ain't kindergarten yo!

A much better alternative is a time based thing, you have one warning per week deducted.
Say you get 2 warnings, at the end of the week you have one warning, at the end of the next week, you have 0.
