We, currently, have like, love and disagree for the whole forums. But what if we had a new one?
Funny!
It's pretty self-explainitary.

Pros:

• Reduces spam

Instead of replying with "XD" and "Haha, that's hilarious.", people can just react with "funny" and leave it at that.

Cons:

• Could be used in an innapropriate way

Well, there's a report section and staff members for a reason. If someone reacts with "funny" in a rude way, they can just get reported and a moderator can deal with it.

Lemme know if your opinions. If you've got any other pros/cons or suggestions, reply with them and I'll add them.

Strawberyy: Maybe keeping it simple we should be able to use the emoji which represents laughing with joy for the react emotion, but gaurav laughing sounds cool too.

I don't really think its a good idea because "lol" is easier than doing "/funny" and during rps emotes aren't silenced so it might become spam

I believe this suggestion is for reactions on the forums, currently we have ‘like’, ‘love’ and ‘I disagree’, this suggestion is to implement an additional one: ‘funny’.


In regards to the suggestion itself, I really like this idea, we’ve only had three reactions for quite some time now and I’ve always been rooting for an additional one. I’m sure the design team could create one relatively quickly, and I doubt it’d be to hard to implement.

I would love for this to be implemented, even if it’s just to have a bit more of a variety. I’ve seen a ‘funny’ reaction on another server’s forums, and it works really well.

This would be a lovely method for users to express themselves and their opinions further. As Lilli mentioned, we’ve been restricted to the same reactions for quite some time, an additional one would be very nice and add something new for users to express themselves with.

The only way I could think of it being abused is if someone says something about killing themself and then someone reacts with "funny". I also added it because I needed a con XD
