Tick Tock Tick Tock, the clock inches it's way towards 12:00 a.m. 2018. And this one simple question starts to appear in my mind: What's 2017 for me like? It's a simple question, but answering it is hard. Words can't help describe what happened during this long, troublesome, painful, happy, wonderful year. We've all been through various situations, different perspectives about 2017. And so here, I made this post, to review, summarize and just to see how are people's 2017? Hope You all here are active enough to post and share thoughts! :D Without further or do, I'll start.

School Life: Being a 9th grader in my final junior moments is a busy one. When all you've learnt from the previous two, and combined with this year's makes every person stressful throughout the year. Exams scattered throughout 2017, making everyone anxious about it. As teachers made us do mountains of homework with little time to spare. Time went fast even though with the stress of this. And as the exams closes, we were basically throwing our gaming consoles off apartments and burning off thousands of Nitendo Switches. On Exam Day, no one ever talked. 10 hours of extremely brain-tortured questions as well as 16 degrees celcius air conditioning made everybody feel like they came out of some Siberian Torture Camp. But after that, it was relaxing, feeling all that weight lifted off your chest, as you've beaten the devils. That feeling of success is one of the many that I will never forget.

Personal Life: Physically, nothing much happened, what I wanted to become didn't happen as I was just too lazy ;p Growing muscles? Failed. Height? Didn't grow an inch. At least my weight's gaining. Oof that's not a good thing. Well besides that, at least I can ski, skateboard and even do stunts with a bike. The blood, tears and sweat that went into these paid off as all the people who didn't think I could do that faded. In terms of personality, I really did change a lot thanks to you guys, the community of MCPZ. You all here helped me a lot. Made me become a better person. Instead of being quiet, shy, I've become someone who is energetic, funny and nice. What I do need to improve is the lack of temper I have. Being a short tempered person isn't nice as you're hurting yourself and friends more and harder, which I always regret. Hopefully that'll change in 2018. In terms of hobbies and jobs, some succeeded but others failed. As now I have become a pro-Chinese checker player, a decent guitar player as well as a writer. The only bad thing is I still haven't find the job I wanted to be in... Well that's sad.

Minecraft Life: The first year didn't really started well as my old home server went down and closed for eternity. But then things changed when I joined here. Being introduced by my friend, Alison, helped changed how I become and think. You guys are like my second family, caring, friendly and helpful. I love you all even though sometimes we do have some fights and brawls. I've noticed some of you even became my mentors such as @Rumq , @NaNatNat , @Katea_ and @Aaronn Wallace (If I tagged the right Aaron). In this year, I was also able to create magnificent (not for Rumq's standards though) projects such as the World Trade Center of New York, the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur, Venice, Miami, the Space Needle in Seattle, Poughkeepsie, New York, the Eiffel Tower, Arc De Triomphe, a Parisan street, a Japanese Birthday Plot for @Caalico, the St Louis Courthouse and also a 6 plotted version of Chicago. In contests I've won 4 Build battles non-stop which is considered a great achievement to me. But even with these successes, I will never forget you all who guided me along this path, whom I will cherish.

Global: Yea, I know PZ doesn't allow me to talk about politicians but I didn't want to talk about that, mostly because people will warn me and stuff. Anyways we've seen a lot of trends in 2017, the fidget spinner, the floor is lava challenge and slugs. We've seen a lot of new trending people including brothers Jake and Logan Paul (which are actually famous before 2016 but not really that famous). In sports we see the Houston Astros won their first ever World Series (God Dodges, why'd you beat the Cubs), the Golden Warriors winning YET another championship and also Chelsea, won the championship of the Premier League. 2017 is also a major change for the music industry too, besides Despacito and Havana's rise, we also see the striking growth of Ed Sheeran's fame and the center of music is slowly turning from the United States to South Korea. With EXO, Wanna One and the most famous one of all, BTS rising, we will see just how long the U.S. will be holding the title. But with all these good stuff happening, there will always be sad and memorial ones too. 2017 was a very disastrous for many as Hurricane Harvey slammed into Texas followed by Irma into Florida. Besides these two, numerous other hurricanes slammed into Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Australia. Besides hurricanes, there are also earthquakes which one rocked Mexico City down into it's knees and forest fires raging through California. Let's just hope 2018 will be a more peaceful year for us to come with more interesting challenges and trends.

So there you have it, my perspective or 2017. Was it good? Bad? I don't even have a proper answer. It just depends on whether you feel like it or not. Hopefully it will be a good year and may 2018 be even better. What's your perspective of 2017? And what do you hope to achieve? Write down in the comments and share it with us :D. Farewell 2017 and Welcome and have a very Happy 2018!!

Jun told me to comment on this so I guess I will.

Honestly, 2017 could’ve gone worse for me but it didn’t so at least I have that. It’s honestly been such a rollercoaster of events and I don’t know where to begin. Well, at the start of the year, I struggled with some mental health issues and a lot of mental breakdowns. It got better throughout the year and I was able to find myself again. I’m not who I was before everything happened, but I think I’m a better version of myself now. The middle of the year was mostly just me focusing on myself and my grades. The end of the year was really when things kind of got better. I was promoted to Helper and I couldn’t be any more grateful than I already am. Sure, it was overwhelming at first but I got a hang of it and I’m really having a lot of fun now. I’ve made friends and I’ve lost some, but that’s alright. I could go on a really long tangent but I won’t so I’ll end this here.

I’m really looking forward to 2018 and what opportunities arise. I know I’ll face obstacles but I’ll never stop trying to go over them. I really hope that I can improve myself as a friend, student, and human overall. I’m contented where I am right now but that doesn’t mean I can’t improve it.

Hope you all have a beautiful 2018.
