Okay, hello. I'm new to the forums ! I'm not sure if a 1.9 update to the server is ever gonna come out, but it would be cool to have it, so basically what im asking is, is 1.9 ever gonna be updated on mcpz, or is it gonna remain 1.8+, like it is already? (i really want the new blocks ; D)

I want 1.9 just as much as the next guy, but that may be a while unfortunately, well, for the games, creative and survival could happen very soon, i dunno

They can have just the creative server 1.9+ it may be easier for them that way too.

I don't think this should be added because some players still use 1.8, and if the server switches to 1.9, then the people using 1.8 may not come back, or can't play because their computer can't run the newer updates.

Sorry, this is a - 1 for me.

well, it's been a year i believe since 1.9 came out, so i personally think it would should be updated at some point, but that's only my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I strongly agree with this, it would be nice to have some new blocks on creative and such. People that still use 1.8 would only have to change their version- that is very easy.

NOPLS.
Me and another few people can only use 1.8 because 1.9 is too laggy and crashes us. And we'd like to stay :I

EDIT:
There'd also be a big problem and most likely a spam of messages on the forums of "i cant get on to the server" and having the same thing explained as long as the server goes up, since 1.8 is most likely the most used version.

There is a high percentage of our players that use 1.8, if that number decreases enough we will consider moving to a higher version. It is worth noting that although the new blocks are cool etc that a lot of players cant use versions higher than 1.8.9 and we wont alienate our player base.

1.8 fps = 40-100
1.9+ fps = 0 thru -50

Even with Optfine, Did not work XD. -1
