1.9 out?

When I put on my mc launcher and I went on realms to check if I had any invites and stuff and it said it wasn't able to go on with this version then I was like? ;o 1.9 is out?
Im not sure if it is ;p



(EDIT: I just tested it on Creative and it wasnt 1.9 so yeah comment about 1.9 now)
