So it seems pretty popular with players to do this Type my Life thing so I figured Wynaut.
So first off, some of you may know me from playing Party Zone, though I haven't had time recently, or just for having the most points and such on the members board.
My name is Brooklyn, and I've been playing Miencraft since summer of 2011, so about four years now, and let me tell you, it's been great. My first servers were single player, as I didn't really understand what it meant by "ip" to join a multiplayer, though I always dreamed of it.
After a while I figured it out, and began to play more and more with multiplayer. I already knew most of everything about Minecraft, I had watched several Youtubers for a while and their play throughs. Before Minecraft, I wasn't really into all that gaming, but rather I was a roleplayer, which consecutively took most of my time back then.
Eventually I made my way to a server called Rise when I was thirteen. I played on there for a total of one year. I had a best friend that I had stuck with since we both joined the exact same day and met in the spawn. We had been through several towns, especially since we were both betrayed by the same town we trusted. He and I eventually came to a halt when he created his new town during a hiatus of mine, and I was ultimately forced to join another friend of mine's town, who even built me a cute little house to live in, which I was grateful for.
Eventually I felt things weren't exactly right in the town, so I left on good terms and ventured out to find my own place to settle. I already had two newer players as my friends who were willing to join my town. Although most went inactive, the town had houses that were quite nice, ranging from a tree house, a medieval like house, a normal cobblestone fort-like house, and a rectangle-like house that was nicely decorated, including a few mismatched beginner houses built.
I wasn't open to trust much then, so I refused to let anyone be promoted to things such as co-mayor or builder, though I eventually gave builder to one or two people I trusted.
I remember that it was a day I was with my friend, who had built herself a house off the side of the town, since she wasn't in it, a small fishing shack and we were fishing on a lillypad bridge near a desert and the town. I remember the first message I saw was from a mod who said, "oh, she's on". Which I presume was a mistake meant for staff chat only, but I didn't think it was for me until I was promoted. I wasn't exactly the most active person there, as I got busy with soccer and other things, but I managed to keep that title until the day that Mojang announced the new EULA.
With many of the store's items being game- related, they were forced to take them off, and eventually closed, much to everyone's disappointment. One of the mods reopened a server and re invited everyone, and I currently go there time to time with my own town again.
After the server shut down, I migrated fully to Party Zone. I became more active, and eventually became a Helper, though it was only for a few months, and I lost that after a bit of miscommunication and some issues that I don't blame anyone for. After that I bought VIP+ and then got Elite, which is the rank I have currently.
I'll be honest, so many things have changed for me on Party Zone. Masses of my friends gone, I was no longer in the hundreds ranking for Murder, and it was just like a ghost town for me. Though a bunch of you guys are still active on the forums or hanging around, like @PinkWL @abspup @Dragazo? @Dogey and many, many others.
My time on Party Zone has been amazing, and although I know it won't last forever, you guys'll never fully get rid of me until the day it shuts down c:
