(Yes, the story starts here, if you actually read it all then you're amazing because most people will skip parts. It will make more sense if you don't skip parts though!)
Everything faded away after Widow found me. I remembered but 1 thing, a distant memory. I was in my bed, reading an article. The date was December 17, 2057 and the article was about a disease that had sprouted. The... Widows Call is what it said. I was reading it and I wondered if the disease had side effects. I read the side effects, and they matched the Colds symptoms, but the Common Cold had been extinguished back in 2034. But yet after reading the symptoms, I was called down to eat Breakfeast by my aunt. She had been sick but she knew how to keep going with life, even with a cardiac enthusiast always weighing her down (it helped keep people with a heart condition keep going with their normal lives). I sat down at the table reading the article still and she slammed my computer shut. She said "what is it with kids and their dang electronics". I didn't respond, and I started eating. She went upstairs and slammed the door to her bedroom. Once I had finished eating I went up to ask her for my computer but when I opened her door, she was not in her room. I looked down the hall and she lying on the floor. I could hear her breathing way faster then average and I ran over. I woke her up and her eyes were dark purple. I remembered the article saying a symptom was a change in eye color. I backed away and she closed her eyes. For a second I thought she was dead but she started breathing again. I was able to drag her to her room and put her in bed. I found my computer and I searched for cures. After almost 3 hours of searching, still nothing had come up and I received a Skype call. I swiped over to Skype and I saw it was Alvin (AlvinMC_
). We had been friends for a pretty long time. I answered and he said "hey". We had a small talk about how life was going and he told me about the Widow disease. I pretended i didn't know what it was and made myself sound amazed. I quickly asked him if there was a cure (as if I hadn't been looking) and Alvin said "sadly, there is not a cure yet. I'm sure it will come up some time soon". I slammed my hand on the desk and closed the computer. I sat there and took a nap. When I woke up, it was dark. I looked over at my aunts bed and she wasn't there. I looked around and couldn't find her. I heard some banging of pots and pans in the kitchen and I slowly walked over. I looked down the stairs and I saw a shadow of an old women tearing up pots and pans with her own bare hands. My eyes widened and I closed the door. I checked skype and found Alvins skype profile. I messaged him "Meet me in the forest, no questions". I saw "Alvin is typing" but that disappeared a small time after so I assumed he had just read the message and he was getting ready. I turned around and looked at the door, which was cracking open slowly. I closed the computer and got under the desk. I saw her walk in slowly and look around. She was sweating and her veins were all dark colored. I closed my eyes hoping she wouldn't find me. I opened them about 10 seconds after and she wasn't there. I looked around from behind the chair and I slowly pushed the chair out of the way. I pushed the chair further so I could get up and I slowly stood up. I heard a creek from behind me and turned around. She had been on the desk. She screamed in my face very loudly and the screech was very distorted. I grabbed the computer and bolted for my room. I locked the door and I heard galloping outside the hallway. My eyes were wide open. I grabbed a chair and I put it in front of the door just in case. I walked over to the window and I looked outside. The town was mostly in ruins with fire and people walking around slaughtering eachother. I walked backwards into my desk. I said "I have to find Alvin". I started packing and I heard distorted screams outside my door. My aunt must have found me. I packed everything I might need and I looked over at the door. I saw some purple liquid slowly come out from under the chair which was holding the door closed. I didn't know what it was and I didn't have time to find out. I looked out the second window in my room and saw a roof under it. I heard banging on the door. The door slammed open and the chair slid towards me. I jumped over it and my aunt ran in (what a Savage). I looked behind me and saw the chair. I said "sorry Auntie" and I ran for the window. I grabbed the chair and broke the window. She ran towards me and I got ready to jump. She grabbed me and wouldn't let me jump over. I struggled to get her off but it was no use. I grabbed the leg of the chair that I used to break the window and I hit her hands which wouldn't let me go. She tried to grab me again and possibly bite me but I threw the stick at her and hit her in the head. She fell backwards and I jumped for the other roof. I grabbed the shackle and pulled myself up. I looked back and saw her running towards the window. She tried to jump but didn't make it and she tumbled down to the floor. I said "I'm sorry, you're not my aunt". I saw others with the disease all crowding around her area and it was hard to tell what they were doing. I looked away and saw the forest. I jumped from roof to roof and at one point I thought I broke my foot. I kept going and I made it to the woods. I was worried to go into the woods. I thought to myself "what if Alvin didn't make it? What if he died because I told him to get to the woods? What if I don't make it? What if I didn't bring my phone? (Idek)". I stood there on the roof and I looked out over the trees and found our treehouse (me and Alvins). I decided to go for it. I jumped down from the roof and landed quietly. I looked over to the woods and realized it looks war scarier from below the treetops. I looked back and saw a hand come out from behind the house and grab the floor. I ran into the woods. I was running so fast I really didn't care if I got hit by a branch. I looked behind me and no one was chasing me. No 'thing' was chasing me, I reminded myself. Those weren't people. I slowed down and started walking in the direction of the tree house and I heard some distant sounds. I looked over and found Alvin. Alvin was saying whispering in terror "Diamond, diamond are you there?". I started running towards him and I stepped on a twig. I didn't think it would be much of a problem, but I heard moans come from behind me. I saw that not far behind, there were about 6 Widows (zombie people things) looking in my direction. Alvin looked over and said "run!". I started running for the treehouse and the Widows started chasing after me. They were actually pretty fast and I was worried I wouldn't make it. I ran as fast as I could and made it to the ladder. He was already at the top and said "come on!". I climbed up and a Widow had caught up. He grabbed my foot and Alvin dropped a rock on its head. It fell backwards and was apparently puzzled. I made it to the top and sat down. I looked at him and he said "they won't find us, I took out the lights". He sighed and sat down with his back to the wall. I layed down and looked up at the top window (we had a window on the roof).
