regedit is the Registry Editor of Windows, which has important values of your PC, that you shouldn't touch or change when you don't know what you're doing.

So I discovered something in it, seemed to be fun to post it here.

I did some googling(because that's what you always do when you realize that you're ignorant) and found something about a Windows Side-by-Side assembly or WinSxS or just SxS. Apparently it tries to lessen the impact of problems that happen when using Dynamic Link Libraries(or DLLs as most people know them).
