That's because you have light as bright as the sun in front of you. And whenever your body senses light, it goes,"Sun's up! Night's gone! ENERGY! YIPPEE!!!!!!"

So as long as you've got your lights open, you won't be feeling sleepy. Unless of course, your brain figures out that you haven't slept for a day and tries to force you to sleep. Then your binge-watching sessions are over.
 
I almost feel asleep at my computer three hours later.
