Don’t take them there’s no point unless you’re rich already. They don’t provide any extra boost other than credits and schools that might require you to take those classes are the most expensive ones. If you’re taking college classes in high school ^^^^college classes are no picnic either friend
There is a point, especially if you're not rich. It's a lot cheaper and more time-efficient to participate in dual enrollment. And there's no positive correlation between tuition cost and whether or not the classes I've taken are required for the degrees I'm interested in. Composition 1 and 2 (among the other classes I've taken) are going to be required pretty much anywhere I go, and the places that I'm interested in that require those classes are quite financially manageable, especially if you've got a good ACT score.Don’t take them there’s no point unless you’re rich already. lol what? i completed half of my gen ed by my junior year of high school for about ~$700 in total because of AP credits that i got. they gave me a huge gpa boost, helped me learn the difference between high school and college and how to truly study on your own and take notes properly. it's beneficial, saves a ton of time, and a ton of money.Don’t take them there’s no point unless you’re rich already. Well said. And it's kind of funny how meta this has gotten - I'm actually writing about the social and academic benefits of dual enrollment as part of an essay that I'm writing for a class that I'm taking through dual enrollment!lol what? i completed half of my gen ed by my junior year of high school for about ~$700 in total because of AP credits that i got. they gave me a huge gpa boost, helped me learn the difference between high school and college and how to truly study on your own and take notes properly. it's beneficial, saves a ton of time, and a ton of money.
