I dont know if this is the most useful thing in the world or not but whatever.

There are quite a few rp's that have a sort of backstory to it, which kind of force the owner's to explain it.

Basically when typing the command a large text appears which the owner would have already written which explains the story.

and if this doesn't work maybe an /rp rules ... to see the rules

EDIT: This was supposed to be for creative not general

That could cause chat flood though

Prefix changed from General to Creative.

Personally love this idea, a few years back I hosted tons of rps and it got really irritating having to explain the storyline again and again, I think this’d be really useful for people.

Personally, I do not participate in role-plays. However, I have seen a tremendous amount of players who spend a lot of time placing signs, or trying to explain, the background information of their role-play.

To prevent the concern brought up within this suggestion of chat flood, we can create a text limit which doesn't take up too many lines, but enough for others to get a brief understanding of the role-play itself.

I do not see any issues that cannot be prevented, to my knowledge, if this suggestion were to be implemented.
It would be convenient and a very useful feature for players. +1 from me!

I really agree with you. Most people take time into making their backstories and nobody really reads them. The Benefit of this is so the RP owner can advertise in their rp chat, "Please Do /rp backstory/rules!" +1 from me!
