Yea, ik, you thought I quit, and I did, but I just wanna say what really happened. So I opened up a city based on the idea of ModernArt. This one player really wanted to help me and he did so. Eventually they quit because they wanted to start their own. That's fine, but they then starting copying and pasting (with W/E) my buildings that they didn't make or anything. They then just changed the block colors! I told the staff and they said they can't do anything. Then I realised something, how broken the system is. Why isn't someone who literally c/p my hard work not getting banned or at least punished? Yea and you might be asking, why did you add him in the first place? Because he acted like a friend, but then he back stabbed me.
Imagine you have this friend that acts really friendly to you. You'd trust them right? But then, what happens if they c/p your plot all of a sudden and steal all your hard word, pasting it on their plot and calling it their own? How would you feel? This is what happened to me, and from that experience, I just quit, what's wrong with the server? I just wanted to be honest and spill the beans of what really happened. Also, that person who screwed me over was HeyItsHarrison.

What? I'm not talking about those ones, I'm talking about one of the skyscrapers. It's a copy of mine, I checked, I checked the dimensions, everything.

I mean if he helped, that means he should be allowed to keep the buildings because he worked on them

He didn't work on the ones he c/p what so ever. He worked on others, and it's fine if he c/p them, but he didn't work on the ones he copied and claimed it for himself. I told him about this and what did he do? He told me to GET LOST.

Only advice i can really give is wait for a mod to say something, like a mod can delete it on their plot and have you untrust them so they dont have the buildings nor can they copy paste them

I contacted a staff member, and they said they could no nothing. Like, they just took my hard work!

There isn’t really much staff can do. It could’ve happened to anyone, it still happens quite a bit too. I understand where you’re coming from, but they could’ve used the design for their own plot. If they have the same buildings it doesn’t automatically mean the user stole it.

Adding on to that, I would suggest taking the players name out of the text as it is being quite rude by saying they “screwed you over” and I doubt they want that there, especially with the accusation, true or not.

I don't care if they want it there or not after what they've done to me at this point. Also, same dimensions and everything. He even admitted and the admins should add a rule because it's stupid you can even copy someone's work.

To start with, yes, I copied your skyscraper off of your plot without permission. In my mind at the time, I thought it wouldn't be that big of a deal because I helped create the building by using world edit to make it into the skyscraper it is currently. Once you confronted me, I did proceed to give you full credit with a sign at the entrance. Yet, you still were angered and continued to try to get me banned by begging staff to ban me. I do recall you stating that you were quitting, and that you hoped MCPZ rots. Then, you came back, continuing to try to get me banned while I was trying to make peace! I told you I had a great time with your city, and that it inspired me to make my own. I told you how great a job you did on running it, and that our cities could co-exist without harming each other. Yesterday, February 1st, you got back on the server, telling people biased opinions on how I "ruined you" which is not at all what happened. You continued to mention me in rude ways, and even encouraged other players to do the same. I did end up removing the building because it upset you so much and I apologize that this situation turned into something bigger than it was supposed to be. I'm sorry that this angered you so much, but if you are going to make a biased and opinionated post about how I wronged you, at least tell the whole story.

and that you hoped MCPZ rots.
Okay but that is a overreaction.

But anyway, @LlamaInTheWild. For a start, you should be taking the argument to DMs. Secondly, if they helped build it they have every right to put it on their own plot. And third, if it's a suggestion it should be in the suggestion forums

And you should probably remove

from the thread. As said above, it's rude to say that HeyItsHarrison "screwed you over".

He did say he hopes the server rots on many occasions. I don't know if you were agreeing with me that he was overreacting, or if you were saying I was, but I just wanted to clarify.

I agree with you, dw. Saying that they hope the server rots is an extreme over reaction lol

What I was thinking of is, that someone kinda copied what you built and in the style off it, next time it would be just simply politely say “I don’t like how you copied off what I built, so could you please delete it” or “can you change what you built or delete it as it looks like you have copid me” instead of being quite rude, and as Val said, mentioning names is not nice, so for future you should not do that as well, As Harrison said that they deleted it now, It would be best to get over it and drop this topic
(ps normally my sentences don’t make sense so sorry if it doesn’t, I am terrile at English)

Preach

And anyway if you hope that the server rots, leave already, damn. You said you were 'leaving' and then come back with this huge story about this guy copying your build- if you left surely you shouldn't be on here?
