Hey Partiers, As many of you probably know, I have been given an amazing opportunity to be nominated for The Leukemia &Lymphoma Society's Student of the Year program. This program is a seven-week initiative where select students from around the country participate in a fundraising competition to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I am participating to honor a dear family friend named Barbie who is a cancer survivor who never fails to amaze me with her accomplishments. To honor her and her journey, I named my fundraising team Team Barbie. My team is entering this challenge with the hope of raising $25,000! In order to reach our goal we are relying on donations and support from all over the world.
  • Since the early 1960s, five-year survival rates for many blood cancer patients have doubled, tripled or even quadrupled, and many LLS supported therapies not only help blood cancer patients but are helping patients with other cancers and serious diseases. In fact, drugs first approved for blood cancers are now approved to treat patients with stomach cancers, skin cancers, and autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis.
  • All donations are greatly appreciated and are tax deductible. This will not only support LLS-funded research but will also help provide critical information and support for patients, and support advocacy for laws to ensure patients can access the care and treatments they need
On behalf of blood cancer patients everywhere, thank you for your support!
For more information about LLS, please visit www.lls.org.

To anyone who may donate or has already donated, I want to personally say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am proud to be sharing this fundraiser with such a loving community that I have been a part of for so long. Even if you aren't able to donate, please spread the word about the donation! Together we can be the generation that finds a cure for cancer!

Unfortunately I am not allowed to share that information until the fundraiser is over, though I will be sure to announce the results here!

Aw, okay.

You’re doing such a great thing, this is one of the first fundraisers I’ve donated for and I don’t regret it :)

This is such a good thing and also, every dollar, cents (as you call it in America) counts

Yep. For all we know, one single dollar could change medical history. *casually gets a currency converter up*

I've donated! You guys should too <3

Bump :)

Wish I could donate.

Guys, I have an update! Currently there is a United States challenge where we are trying to get donations from as many states as possible! If you know anyone from another state, please ask them about donating. Winning this challenge could add an extra $200 to the fundraiser!
