Yet with this it keeps the server healthy because people won’t be spamming the bot that runs the cool down, with this new thing it’s less likely people will spam

I disagree. Even when 'emote spams' happen, staff ask you to chill. Most of the time emote spams aren't even that bad... maybe 8 or 7 people. Plus it is an accident. And I don't think you should be spamming your emote anyway. Being patient can help with this... 30 secs is not that long.

This would just spam your own chat anyway. And, like KawaiiWifi said above, staff tell you not to spam it anyway.
