The plane flew through the air, the sound of turbulance rushed through everybodies minds. There was an awkward atmosphere between the contestants, the type of atmosphere in a library almost. For a split second, Gio and Asher made eye contact, Asher bursts out laughing but Gio rolls his eyes and continues with his music. “Ding Dong, We are now descending into Hilayolu, please fasten your seatbelts and turn off all technological appliances” says the airplane. Naomi sniggers a little and continues texting.
20 minutes later the plane lands. The 8 contestants are quickly ushered into a mini bus and taken to the TBTI Sec training grounds. The bus journey is an awkward ride, nobody speaks to each other, they all just do their own thing.
A 5 minute bus journey felt like eternity as they all sat in silence. The bus comes to a halt and they all make their way out of the bus, embracing the landscape around them, except for Naomi who is on her phone.
“Hello everybody my name is Nora and I—“ Nora stops talking, she snatches Naomi’s phone and smashes it on the ground with her foot. Naomi is sent up to the dorms, Nora continues “So, my name is Nora and I’ll be your host today, so welcome to TBTI Sec, we are a group of trained individuals who will lead you to victory. If you think this is like high school musical where you can song and dance your way through any situation, you have come to the wrong place, this is real life and you will be faced with real deaths. I won’t keep you all too long, you are free to go to your dorms, meet me here tomorrow at 7.00am tomorrow” Nora dismesses them.
Later that evening, the contestants are in their dorms, they decide to introduce themselves
“Hello! My name is Alex, I enjoy Art and well yeah, that’s it.”
“Hi, my um name is Dakota and I’m really happy to be here with you amazing people”
“Salutations, I’m Wolf, don’t talk to me, thanks”
“Good Evening! My name is Rose and I am here to study the in depth lives of the secret agents of this amazing establishment”
“Um, Hi, I’m Asher and uh, yeah” Asher says, laughing
Rose looks at Alfie who is next to introduce himself “Who are you?” Rose asks
“Alfie” He replies.
“Hello, I’m Gio and I’m here to ‘make friends’ he says smirking.
“Haiiiii, I’m Naomi” Naomi looks around at everyone looking at her. She quickly sits down, the contestants decide its time for bed, so without hesitation, that’s what they do.

“Haiiiii, I’m Naomi” Naomi looks around at everyone looking at her. She quickly sits down, the contestants decide its time for bed, so without hesitation, that’s what they do.
"BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP" goes the alarm clock. Alfie calmly turns it off as he continues to get dressed. In the bathroom, Dakota is showering and quietly singing but it shortly interrupted by Gio who bangs on the door loudly "Hurry up!" Gio shouts.
"Come on guys we've got to get going" exclaims Naomi as she does up her shoe lace.
10 minutes later, the group walks out the door and makes their way down to the training grounds where they meet Nora.
"ROLL CALL!" Nora shouts.
"Wolf?"
"Naomi?"
"Alexander?"
"Giovanni?"
"Dakota?"
"Asher?"
"Rosetta?"
"Alfaeus?"
They all answer the roll call without arguing about their names.
"So welcome to your first competition. Today you will train like troops of war and only 7 of you will be returning back to your luxury dorms" Nora says. Nora leads the group over to a giant maze made of maple, holly and palm leaves mixed in with nettles and thorns.
"Welcome to the Mirtrosurous maze, this maze was used for our last group of troops however this time, its been transformed to be harder, scarier and way more complex than the last maze. We have hired 3 people to chase you around the maze. These people are vicious killers and will attempt to kill you on sight. People either escape this maze, or die trying, good luck contestants." The group all stand by different entrances to the maze. Nora shouts for them to go and they all set off into the maze.
Less than 20 minutes later, Rose and Alfie bump into each other which leaves them both on the ground, Rose gets up and brushes herself off. She smiles at Alfie and asks to team up. Alfie sniggers and replies with "No thank you". Alfie starts to walk off but Rose stops him
"Come on Alfie" she says. Alfie looks into her eyes, rolls his own eyes then agrees.
"Lets go" Alfie says. Rose smirks and walks after him.
Meanwhile, Gio is sprinting through the maze, swiftly dodging all nettles and thorns, as if he knows where the exit is. He quickly runs past Dakota who tries to stop him. Dakota runs after him since she trusts him, she watches Gio run out of the maze so follows him out. Gio greets Nora,
"Well done Gio and Dakota for escaping!" Says Nora. Gio looks behind him
"You followed me?" he shouts at Dakota.
"N-No I um--" She sighs and stops.
30 minutes later, Gio, Dakota, Alex, Naomi, Asher and Wolf are out of the maze and they are only waiting for Alfie and Rose. Nora checks her watch and shouts loudly "WHERE ARE YOU!" until they all see Rose and Alfie making their way towards the end of the maze. As they get to the end, Alfie trips over, as he hits the ground they all hear a crunch. Rose looks back at Alfie, it take some All her might to not help him.
"Rose! Help me! We are friends!" Alfie shouts
"Please, we may of been partners but I don't need you anymore" Rose replies, she flicks her hair and walks out of the maze. They watch as vines on the floor wrap around Alfie's body, getting tighter and tighter by the second. Dakota turns away. Alfie lets out a huge scream but is cut off by the vine around his neck. His face turns completely blue and his eyes go bloodshot red. It takes all their power to not go and help him. Until, silence. Nora looks around at the contestants, who all have guilty looks on their face
"Up to your rooms" She says quickly with a snap
She then ushers them all up to their rooms.
"Good night!" She slams the door closed. Alex walks over to the board with all the contestants names on, he puts a long, straight, chalk line through Alfie's name.
"
"Come on guys we've got to get going" exclaims Naomi as she does up her shoe lace.

It was 3:00am. A stormy night. The characters lay in their beds, but they all knew that nobody was sleeping. Asher looks over to the chalkboard, he looks at Alfie’s name which at this point, is almost rubbed off the board completely, he turns his head and makes eye contact with Naomi, they both know not to say anything. At the moment, she silence was broke
“Hey um- guys” Wolf says. They all turn to their heads to face them. “So Nora looked pretty upset last night” Wolf says.
Gio sits up “Pff, what a joke, Wolf you can’t read emotions, you’re pretty much emotionless” He says, with a smirk. Dakota whispers to Gio
“They’re like really angry now” she says
“I know, I wanna see him angry” Gio replies
They all watch as Wolf increases their breathing, their face slowly turns red.
“Are you serious! This is an actual joke, I didn’t do anything wrong and you’re just gonna start on me for no reason?! It’s absolutely ridiculous!” Wolf says, screaming loudly. Gio laughs loudly, at that moment, Nora storms into the room. She grabs Gio and Wolf by their hair and takes them out the room, as she shuts the door, something falls out of her pocket, Rose sees it. Once Gio, Wolf and Nora leave the room, Rose gets up and grabs the thing that fell out of her pocket, she realises it’s a name tag.
“What is it?” Asks Naomi
Rose looks at the tag “Nora starfire, 24, from ??” She says
“Wait Nora Starfire? As in Tuski starfire?” Alex asks
“Who is Tuski starfire?” Rose asks
“He was training last year” Alex replies “But he died”
“They wouldn’t be related would they?” Rose asks
“I’m not sure, but it explains Alfie’s death, last year, Tuski had a crush on a girl named Liv who was known as the independent one. Tuski then sacrificed himself for Liv, my guess is that when she realised Alfie was the independent one too, she rigged the game to make him die first” Alex says, in shock
“It’s true, my boyfriend was in the game last year” Naomi says.
“Well, it couldn’t be, I betrayed Alfie, it had nothing to do with Nora” Rose says
“I don’t know, it could be” Alex says.
They all look at each other in surprise
“Well, we should really go to bed now guys” Asher says, they all look at each other and go to bed, worried about Gio and Wolf, anything could be happening to them right now.
“Hey um- guys” Wolf says. They all turn to their heads to face them. “So Nora looked pretty upset last night” Wolf says.

“Rise and shine” Nora says, bursting through the door, however to her surprise, they were all fully dressed and ready.

“I, um, how did you know?” Nora asks, looking flustered.
Rose stands up and hands her the name tag that she found last night. Nora looks at Rose right in the eye and punches her between the eye brows, they all gasp. Rose falls backwards, unconscious. Nora walks out the door, motioning everyone else’s to walk after her. They carefully step around Rose, all in shock.
They all reach the training grounds, they see Gio and Wolf tied up against a steel pole. Asher looks at them and realises that Gio and Wolf’s arms are plastered in cuts, bruises and cigarette burns. He nudges Dakota who opens her eyes widely in shock.
“Two people, one leaves with their life” Nora says, looking pleased with herself.
“Pick partners, they must face one simple task to save your life, Wolf you pick first” Nora says, with a smirk. Wolf looks around and they’re eyes land on Asher
“Asher, get up here” They say. Asher looks surprised, and hesitantly walks over.
“Ok, Dakota, you’re with me” Gio says, smiling.
“Your task, cut off your hand” Nora says. You could hear a pin drop, it was completely mute. Asher and Dakota look at each other.
“Pff, you’re joking” Asher says. “I’m not doing that” he claims.
“Yes you will” Wolf replies
“No”
“I said do it!” Wolf Screams
Meanwhile, Dakota is across from Asher, sawing off her hand, blood squirting everywhere. Gio watches, he feels terrible for her but doesn’t want to stop her. Asher looks at the saw, then his hand
“You’re joking” Asher says.
Until out of nowhere, Alex does a loud scream, they all look at Dakota who is gasping for air, they look at the floor and see Dakota’s hand, laying there.
“Yes!” Shouts Gio.
“NO! ASHER YOU STUPID LITTE——“ Wolf breaks free of his rope, he regains all they're strength. They runs towards Asher.
“Asher you better run” Naomi shouts.
Asher starts sprinting, Wolf sprinting after him, they grab the saw. Asher soon realises that Wolf is quicker than him, Asher starts running towards Naomi
“Hel—-“ He is cut off. He looks down and sees the saw, it cut right through him. The group can tell tell if he fainted or died, they’re pretty sure he died, Gio runs and checks his pulse,
“He’s gone”
“Wolf you come with me” Nora says, grabbing Wolf’s hair, she draggs them off “You’ll get them back tomorrow” she says.
They return to the dorms, Naomi walks up to the board, she grabs the chalk and puts a line through Asher’s name.

Until all of a sudden ‘CRASH’. All 5 contestants jump out of bed. Dakota slowly gets up, her legs shaking, she stumbled over to the light switch and turns it on, she then darts back into bed.
“Lead the way, Mr Alexay” Rose says, doing a mock bow
“Please, I am happily going to walk out that door because I’m not a wuss” Alex says, looking fierce.
Alex gets up and walks over to the door, he opens it.
“Voila, nothing here” Alex says, with a smirk.
Until a rope gets thrown over his neck, he Is pulled backwards and down the stairs. Naomi lets out a scream. Rose looks in shock.
“W-What just happened?” Asks Rose.
“Come on, Let’s go” Gio says, standing up and motioning for the girls to follow him
Gio walks out the door, Dakota, Rose and Naomi follow him. Gio walks down the stairs, she girls follow him, shaking (except for Rose)
“Gio should you really be leading?” Rose asks, raising her eyebrow. “I mean im just sayin’, your not the right person to lead this” she adds.
During that speech, she slowly walks back into a door. She puts too much pressure onto the door and it flings open. Dakota and Naomi hug each other in fear. A gun gets put to Rose’s head
“Dont move a muscle” a mysterious person says, the voice was deep and croaky. The door opens a little more, revealing 3 more mysterious people holding guns to the heads of Nora, Wolf and Alex. Rose puts her hands up, her legs shaking.
“Over there” the person says, they can tell its a man. The man guides Rose to stand next to Alex.
Dakota and Naomi are frozen in place, hugging each other. Gio is also frozen in place
“When the full moon is visible, somebody will die” the man says, fiercly.
“Please, let us go” Nora says, in fear.
“Yeah, please” Alex says, close to tears. On the other hand, Wolf didnt even seem to care.
The men holding guns to Nora and Alex’s head fire a warning shot up into the roof.
“Ah!” Screams Dakota.
The man points the gun at Dakota, she freezes.
“2 minutes until the full moon will rise” The main man says.
The men next to Rose leaves her but Rose doesnt dare to move. He takes a gun out of his bag. He he looks at Dakota, then at Gio, and last, at Naomi.
“You” he says.
“Me?” Naomi asks.
“Yeah, you” He walks towards her and hands her the gun.
“In two minutes, the moon will rise and you will shoot one of these four people, you have 2 minutes to decide who you want to slaughter.” He says, laughing.
Naomi looks at Dakota and Naomi, they discuss
“At the end of the day, you have the gun, its down to you” Gio finishes.
“The full moon has arisen” says a man, smiling
“Hurry shoot one!” The main man says.
Dakota and Gio stare at Naomi, meanwhile, Nora, Alex, Wolf and Rose are shaking
“Im sorry...” Naomi says
“But im not a murderer” Naomi turns the gun around and shoots herself right in the heart. Dakota screams loudly.
“Thank you, we bid you farewell” the men take Naomi’s body and make a swift exit.
Back at the dorms, Wolf puts a long line, through Naomi’s name.
“For god sake Naomi, can you shut up and let us sleep?” Says Alex, rolling his eyes.
“No, Alex, I heard it too” Gio adds, sitting up.
“You’re both mental” Alex Says, tucking himself back into bed.

“Over there” the person says, they can tell its a man. The man guides Rose to stand next to Alex.
Dakota and Naomi are frozen in place, hugging each other. Gio is also frozen in place
“When the full moon is visible, somebody will die” the man says, fiercly.
“Please, let us go” Nora says, in fear.
“Yeah, please” Alex says, close to tears. On the other hand, Wolf didnt even seem to care.
The men holding guns to Nora and Alex’s head fire a warning shot up into the roof.
“Ah!” Screams Dakota.
The man points the gun at Dakota, she freezes.
“2 minutes until the full moon will rise” The main man says.
The men next to Rose leaves her but Rose doesnt dare to move. He takes a gun out of his bag. He he looks at Dakota, then at Gio, and last, at Naomi.
“You” he says.
“Me?” Naomi asks.
“Yeah, you” He walks towards her and hands her the gun.
“In two minutes, the moon will rise and you will shoot one of these four people, you have 2 minutes to decide who you want to slaughter.” He says, laughing.
Naomi looks at Dakota and Naomi, they discuss
“So Nora?” Naomi asks
“Shes the host, we cant get in without her” Dakota replies
“Good point, good point. But she broke my phone, we would get a new host right?” Naomi asks
“Its risky, but its down to you” Gio says

“The full moon has arisen” says a man, smiling
“Hurry shoot one!” The main man says.
Dakota and Gio stare at Naomi, meanwhile, Nora, Alex, Wolf and Rose are shaking
“Im sorry...” Naomi says
“But im not a murderer” Naomi turns the gun around and shoots herself right in the heart. Dakota screams loudly.
“Thank you, we bid you farewell” the men take Naomi’s body and make a swift exit.
Back at the dorms, Wolf puts a long line, through Naomi’s name.
