Stop the Skin Discrimination!

So as I posted this I got rejected for wearing a non-human skin.
I understand if you want "Humans Only" for your roleplay, but here's the thing: It's hard finding a skin to get used to.

It is so annoying to waltz into a roleplay to be in, and they're like:
"Uhh no. You're not a hooman."

Yadayadayada, wearing skulls, yadayadayada. But.
It's bland and annoying.

It's not discrimination, it's specifics. Some RPs want human only skins because it fits with the storyline of the RP. RPs like Camping and HS normally are usually human only but RPs like HvS or WvH are usually humans and non-humans. It's easy to change your skin or find someone who will make you a good one. No one is saying you or your skin doesn't matter, they are just saying it's a type of RP where being a dog, bird, carrot, dragon etc. doesn't work with the plot.

You don't have to necessarily get used to the skin, you can just put on a skin, do the RP, and switch back to your old skin. It takes two minutes tops to change your skin.

In my opinion, at least, it is not a discrimination. It is simply a preference of the roleplay owner. If they say "Humans only" and you're wearing an animal skin, chances are they are going to say "Hey, this is a human roleplay, could you change your skin?."

If you don't want to, or you'd prefer not to, then you don't have to. There's always more roleplays that are probably lenient towards something as this.

Although, it's nice to spread some awareness about it. Hopefully, more players will be more accepting of skins but when you boil it down it's really not a huge concern as there are many, many roleplays you can choose from.
