your mum's bed lol
The server is dying people, we need to feed it. BTW who last fed creative it's soup. Creative is very hungry now.

Yeah, player participation is certainly a problem... we're losing players for various reasons. Some leave because they feel they've been treated poorly by the community or others, and others have grown out of the server. Whatever the reasons are, there's got to be a way to bring our numbers back up. Something's gotta change. Releasing new minigames all the time isn't going to fix the problem - that's what's so hard about running a Minecraft server, I guess.

The server is getting old man, you need to get new younger players

You know its bad when you cant get in a full game of murder anymore lol !

Keep in mind this is all my own subjective view, but here is what I see regarding player activity.

I am not going to foolishly say that MC is on a decline when it just hit a new record of nearly 75M monthly players this past December across all it's platforms... but Battle Royale style games have been the latest big trend for younger and older audiences alike, and I think we can all agree that despite it's impressive figures, MC has not been in the spotlight for years now.

Personally from what I've noticed in my short amount of time here since joining, it seems the server has a strong core of consistent returning players which is awesome to see. Gaining new players is always going to be a challenge, but I don't see the server having an issue with making them stay once they get a chance to see what our great community is like.

On a side note however, I do have to agree with @Emviar regarding the constant release of new mini-games failing to fix the problem. Many games today focus on constantly releasing new content before refining what is already available to the players. In some instances it works; in the case of a MC server where players typically come for something specific in mind, I believe that improving on what is already retaining your audience is what will keep the player base happy and growing.

I usually would agree with you on that but PZ went in decline way before fortnite had even been out/ got popular, the only BR game big at the time was pubg and i can tell you Pubg didnt pull away the younger audience because unlike fortnite every match i get into i wont hear a 5 year old

the core fanbase is getting older and its hard for lil new kiz to find this server since it's not popular anymore
dont really matter to me tho, as long as this forum up

The server is dying because the "devs" aren't fixing there games.
But there are always people who join!
So, yes and no.

What they mean by "dying" is the overall playercount going down.
The overall playercount is going down according to the data i've seen
There are new players joining, but just not as fast as people are leaving.
