You just now realized that? What I really dislike about this server is the fact the management never sat well with me. The staff team looked more like a popularity of players rather than a good team that tries their best to find hackers and rude peoples. As well the fact it feels like it has been 3 years since the development of the goodie bags had been announced. I find it a bit sad imo. I understand the management and dev team has taken some major changes yet I would expect a year of work to atleast give the goodie bag update out. The team is made of volunteers which is competely reasonable yet the update to take this long is just well insane.
I just hope the server will get better in management and in the game development. Yet 3 years and counting nothing has really significantly changed.
I'm going to have to disagree with you, for reasons of personally being on the staff team and being a player on the network for 3 years.
From what I see from our staff team is full of extremely hardworking people that dedicate not only their time but resources in making the server a safe, comfortable place for all players. Whether is a chat offense or a disallowed modded client, our team works around the clock making sure exceptional results are given to not us, the staff team, but the players. Yes, I completely agree development is a bit slow right now, but I can assure you that they -goodie bags- will be implemented soon enough as well as many other exciting new updates and perks. I know it's a basic thing to say, but you have to be patient.
warn me, i dare you
But yeah, this is some serious stuff. Let's face it, the server has been going downhill in terms of player count. The numbers have been terribly low, in summer. If I recall correctly, summer was a more popular time for players to be online the server because they weren't as busy with school. Player counts usually went down in the fall because of school, and if that happens again this year... yikes.
I agree with you, summer is a time for booming player count but there are many reasons besides the fact that updated are slightly delayed.
Many players, in general, are leaving MineCraft seeking for more interesting recent games such as Fortnite or PUBG. Interest has gone down a lot in the past 5 years, shown
here along with compared statistics once Fortnite was released. I think it would be extremely ignorant of me to completely deny the fact that yeah, updates are delayed, but it's even more ignorant to solely base the decline in player count over delayed updates and such.
oh cool we cant say "crap" now?
It is allowed as long as it isn't meant in an inappropriate or mean/rude manner.
