It was a normal day. Autumn had woke up, It was the middle of the day. Autumn was a tall, skinny 17 year old girl, with long ginger hair. She had blue eyes. She looked over at her clock, noticing she had slept most of the day, and got dressed in her normal shorts, and purple-ish blue shirt, Then went down stairs. Her mum, Zoey was sitting watching the news. Autumn found the news boring, and opened the cupboard and took out a box of cereal. She put the cereal in. Then put milk in, and got a spoon out. She started rushingly eating the cereal. " Honey, go get Emma from her room. " Zoey said. Zoey was a ginger, alike her two daughters, she had blue eyes, She was average for her age, and wore a black white striped shirt. " Fine. " Autumn abandoned her cereal and went upstairs. Autumn went and knocked on Emma's door. " Emma come out of your room! "
" Give me a minute I'm talking to Alexa! " Emma replied. Autumn leaned onto the wall impatiently, and turned on her phone, and went to her messages and messaged Jaiden.
A: Hey.
J: Oh Hey Autumn, How are you?
A: I'm good.
A: Not suppose to be on my phone tbh.
J: You should get off, I don't want you grounded again!
A: Oh come it off, we haven't texted for a week.
" Okay, I'm coming! " Emma shouted from her room.
" Gotta go, annoying family needs me. " Autumn overheard Emma telling Alexa.
A: Gtg.
J: Bye.
Autumn put away her phone, and Emma came out of the room. Emma was an average sized, not skinny nor fat, 13 year old with red hair alike her sister, with green eyes. Without a word, they both went downstairs.
Autumn sat down at the table, and kept eating the cereal she had not finished.
" Give me a minute I'm talking to Alexa! " Emma replied. Autumn leaned onto the wall impatiently, and turned on her phone, and went to her messages and messaged Jaiden.
A: Hey.
J: Oh Hey Autumn, How are you?
A: I'm good.

Two years later| Autumn was about to start college, and Emma started highschool a year earlier, Autumn woke up. She looked outside of her window... But she did not see the sun. It was as if it was still night, but no stars. She looked at her clock that read 7PM. She rushed downstairs still in her pjs, and didn't see any of her family. She took out her phone and texted Jaiden,
A: Jaiden?
J: Did you see too? The sun is gone..
A: Yeah.. I was afraid you weren't here.. I can't find my mum or sister..
J: What about your dad?
A: Dunno. He is normally at work all day.
J: Try calling him.
She called her father, as Jaiden suggested but no reply.
A: No reply.
J: You have a car right?
A: No, my parents don't trust me with one.
J: Okay..
J: Well...
J: I'll drive there.
J: Do you have food and water?
A: Mhm
A: How far are you from me again?
J: Seven hours I think. Do you think you can survive that long?
A: Yeah
She texted Emma, checking if she was alive too.
A: Emma, Are you alright?
She had gotten no reply, 'Maybe...' she thought 'Maybe Emma doesnt have her phone.'
Then she had gotten a notification. She looked on her phone, it was not Emma who texted her.
J: Out of gas, can't come until I find a gas station.
A: Alright.
Autumn took out an apple out of her fridge, and bit into it. She kept it with her and went upstairs. She got into a black shirt and some jeans. She checked the time on her phone, with what felt like minutes an hour had already passed, She had gotten another text by Jaiden now.
J: Found a gas station, I'm taking some supplies from it then getting gas, Stay Safe.
A: Okay, get some extra clothes if you pass by anywhere with clothes. Just incase.
J: Alright.
She thought that she should talk to her middleschool friend,
She texted Celestia.
A: Hey.
C: oh hey, long time no see lol
A: Yeah.
C: how are you?
A: Good.
A: Has the same thing happened to you?
C: yeah. no sun and i cant find anybody around, not even on the streets
A: Jaiden is about to drive to my house and is gonna bring food, you can come if you want.
C: oh wow thanks, yeah ill come. plus im only 1 hour away.
A: Okay! I'll tell her and you should probably bring food and supplies too.
C: alrighty.
A: Hey, Celestia is gonna be coming too.
J: Alright.. but don't you think she is abit fishy..?
A: Nah.
J: Okay..
A: See you when you get here.
J: Cya.
She sat on her bed. She heard knocking from downstairs. She thought it might be Celestia, but it surely has not been an hour.
A: Hey Celestia.. Are you already here..?
C: no i'm still on my way.
C: why?
A: I heard knocking, it might be jaiden.
A: Hey, Jaiden are you here?
J: No, Still on my way..
A: Oh okay.
J: Why?
A: I heard knocking..
J: Whatever you do DO NOT Answer it!
A: What? Why?
J: You don't know who it is.
A: What if its Emma?
J: She would have texted you.
She got off her phone, and went downstairs. She took the table and put it up aganist the door, along with some chairs. She saw somebody outside of her window. It was staring into the sky that looked almost like a void. She was sure it wasn't able to get into the house, and that she was safe and fine. She checked to see how long it had been.. 5 more hours and Jaiden'll be here.. she had now gotten a message
C: dude, let me in.
C: im already here.
A: Oh, sorry.
A: Look in the window so I can tell that it is you.
C: okay.
She saw Celestia, a long purple haired girl, wearing a pink shirt that only covered one shoulder. She had hazel eyes, with dark blue jeans on, and black shoes.
A: Don't care about fashion anymore?
C: yeah, gave that up
She dragged the table and chair so they were no longer blocking the door, and opened it. Celestia ran in, and Autumn closed the door. " Jaiden will be here in five hours. " She told Celestia. " Okay.
Do you have any board games or anything we could do? " Celestia said, sounding bored already.
" Yeah. I have Chess. Wanna play that? " " Yeah, Sure. " Celestia did not have a deep voice, she still sounded as if she was a child, Which made her harder to take seriously. Autumn opened a closet that was sitting in the corner, and grabbed the Chess board and the pieces. She sat the board on the floor and gave one king, one queen, 2 rooks, 2 bishops, 2 knights, and 8 pawns to each of them. " Know how to play, Right? " " Yeah. I do. " Celestia said, and seemed a bit mad at the fact Autumn thought she didnt know how to play Chess. They played for an hour, Celestia ended up beating Autumn 10 rounds, while Autumn only beat her 6 times. They only stopped due to them both being hungry, and Celestia -- Being the older one, who was already 20 -- cooked some steak for both of them, and it had turned 9PM by now. ' Only four more hours..... ' She thought, She did not know if it was four more hours, but thought it was. " Done! " Celestia shouted. Autumn got up, and went to the kitchen with Celestia. They both sat down, Autumn starting cutting up her steak. Celestia did too. " Jaiden should be here in four hours. " She told Celestia. She started eating.
Some time passed and they both were done eating. " Wanna see if the radio still works? " Autumn said, bored. " Yeah, Sure. " Celestia said. Autumn went to the closet where they found the game of chess, And searched around in the selfs for the radio, and took it out. She turned the radio one, and fiddled with it a bit. Then static. The static turned into a frantic male voice. " He- Hello? " " C- an anyb- ody h- ear us? " The radio kept skipping abit, though they could figure out what the voice was saying. " We- " " At Th- e Hospital " " Come There I- " " Hear this message "
They then heard knocking. Autumn got out her phone, and opened her messager. She had two messages from Jaiden.
J: Hey, I'm here.
J: Could you let me in?
A: Yeah.
She went over to the door, and began to open it. " Hey! How do you know whose there? " Celestia questioned. " I got a messaged from Jaiden. " " Oh. " She opened it. To her relief it was actually Jaiden. " Took you long enough. " Autumn said harshly. " Sorry. " " It's Alright, C'mon. We are going to the hospital. " " What? Now? " Jaiden said. " Yes now. We got a messaged on the radio saying that some people are at the Hospital. It's our only hope of survival Jaiden. "
" But we have to go into the woods to get there! " " So? " " Who knows whats inside of the woods? Autumn, We can't risk it. " " I say we risk it. " Celestia said. " It's worth it, we'll have more supplies and more people. " Jaiden crossed her arms, and accepted defeat " Jaiden drives. " Autumn said. They all went outside of the house, and got into the car. Jaiden sat up front while Celestia and Autumn sat in the back. Jaiden put in the keys, and stepped on the gas.

They had gotten into the woods, and where the hospital was. They got out of the car, and went in. They looked around, and heard people talking. " You know nobody's gonna end up coming. " A deep male voice said. " Oh come on James! Somebody might! " A person who Autumn thought had a very child-like voice said. She went to a door where it sounded like the talking was coming from. And she carefully pushed it open, A tall man with black hair, green eyes, and a slim body, A girl with pigtails who was very short, and some-what fat, and a short male with blonde hair, and green eyes were there.
A: Jaiden?
J: Did you see too? The sun is gone..
