I've been thinking about this rp topic for a while, and have seen some of it pop up lightly again, and honestly it makes people uncomfortable to summarise it, I've talked in global and people have stated distaste of those rps because they feel isolated because of it, So I'm suggesting that they shouldn't be allowed because of this uncomfortable they cause players in creative, even if they don't go.
I would like you to note I have high functioning autism, and some others and this is why I feel so strongly about this.
Points I've thought on (these are also from others who have added on to this topic)

Points I've thought on (these are also from others who have added on to this topic)
- For starters, most of those rps aren't well handled they say the patients are abused and that it's almost like a jail, My mother who has worked in nursing for mental health, her work is never like that, Patients are in the mental "Hospital" because they cannot function with supervision or are a danger to themselves and I believe that shouldn't be a topic for children to "roleplay" as because it can lead to triggering subjects in the rp. (for example the "staff" sometimes have tasers or tackle the "escaped patients" when in reality the restraints my mother used are strong hold on the arm and walking with them)
- It sometime glorifies/romanticizes mental health, even with strict plot rules that the guests must follow it's still not a subject that should be made into a game, even if some people are okay with it, if we cannot talk about sensitive topics because some people do not like it then we should be justified to ban this rp because it makes people uncomfortable.
- It demonizes the actual work nurses and doctors use to make sure real life patients are safe, like my point of it being "Jail like" There is a lot of supervision in mental hospitals to make sure they are alright and prevent them from causing harm to themselves (if that is needed). Sometimes people also don't want to be reminded of their times in those places (though I have never been put in one myself) my friends do not like it and seeing people having "fun" while doing it is not fair on those people.
- Like before it can lead to triggering content: The topic of mental health is obviously a sensitive one, and in these rps I have witnessed people doing trigger things and being told not to (some even using the excuse "oh because I do it, it's fine" which contradicts the rule that sensitives topic are not allowed even if you are okay with them)
- If DDLC rps is banned for it's triggering subjects then surely this one shall be, even if it's only a chance for it to happen because even seeing those adverts make people uncomfortable.
- It makes people with mental health problems (like autism, schizophrenia etc) feel isolated: When I expressed my opinion on this, because I was reminded of it, a default @Pandapro9705 (who openly told me she had schizophrenia) said that these types of roleplays make her feel isolated, because it makes her, and I'm sure many others feel like they're not treated like people when we are people.
