How /nick will work
How: With /nick you can set your ign anything! ( Of course not inappropriate stuff)

Who can access it? Only people with
Vip+ And up can access it but people with
Elite+ can use /nick but with color!

Where does it work? /nick will work anywhere through the games modes, but maybe in the lobby your nick will be off to tell who is who? Just a short idea and I know this was probably talked about a lot but ya ty have a nice day❤️

This has already been suggested; and the majority of the comments say.
  • Could cause impersonation.
  • Inappropriate names, regardless if they’re not allowed
My personal opinion is like the way it is. I prefer a clean chat that you could tell who is who easily. This suggestion has too many cons rather than pro.

This would cause a lot of confusion for staff and other players, players could easily have inappropriate nicknames, and while staff could solve this with a command, they'd have to figure out who the player was and the whole thing would take a while. Impersonation of staff would cause an issue as well. -1 from me.

I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I'm sure your suggestion was meant to benefit the server but I'm afraid the cons outweigh the pros.

Players can abuse this command by impersonating other players and staff members. Although staff can punish players with inappropriate nicknames, all it takes is one player to go too far. It can be extremely confusing for new players that join the server. Additionally, I believe this will make chat more clustered than it can already be at times.
Not having /nick implemented makes it convenient for players on the network to ping other players without going through the hassle of finding out who they are beneath the nickname.

I'm well aware players would like more perks but generally speaking- this simply isn't the right perk for PZ. Considering the younger audience
-not that anything is wrong with it- , there are bound to be players that will take advantage of this perk. This can make it unenjoyable and uncomfortable for some players. -1

Yeah, impersonation was decided to be a huge problem. The only I can see this not happening or at least reducing it is making it so you aren't allowed to use usernames when creating a nick. For swearing and whatnot, the chat filter could be made to detect the words within the commands if it doesn't already. Unfortunately, that would probably be bypassed. Not to mention that people might complain oof a messy chat. -1

Sorry, but (like everyone else has said) this is an awful idea. People would abuse the command and could /nick themselves as a player, staff etc. or they might nickname themselves as something inappropriate. It's also a way to get out of a punishment. I.e you could say something that would deserve a punishment while being nicked and then before anyone can do /realname, you've changed your nick back.

I don't see why /nick is needed. Plus you can already do /rp setname, in an rp on creative. The only reason why you would need /nick is if you're really popular and people constantly msg you.

aka why it's something for youtubers only right now. Agreed.
