Implemented Elite+ being able to change rank color

My Idea:
Elite+'s don't get a lot of perks, so why not give them a little nice cosmetic one to put them out from the rest?
My idea is to make it where Elite+'s can choose from a pallet of colors (maybe you could buy more colors) and then they can change their rank name color (ELITE+) to a different color from that pallet.

How would it help the server?
Well to be honest, it's just a little fun cosmetic thing, maybe it could help by having one more thing that would attract people to buy ELITE+ but it wouldn't help in any other way other than making the E+'s have a nice new perk.

*EDIT - How about just the + of the rank name being able to be customized (as suggested by Catten), then staff imitation wouldn't be a problem and the chat wouldn't get to clogged up or messy looking*​

Appreciate the effort you've made on the suggestion, but this has been suggested by many in the past but there were alterations or they were close to this.
Basically why this hasn't been implemented is the fact that it'll make chat look way to colourful and makes chat just messier, which is why majority have said no.
Another fact I can state is that it'll make people confused with staff, for example if a player has Green Elite + a new player might think they're a mod or a helper which is staff impersonation.

Not the whole name tag, that would become cluttered and could imitate staff ( not that much, but still ). Maybe just the + of the rank?

Nice idea Catten, I think the + part of it being able to change colors would have the same exact points as the whole name being colored, accept with this it wouldn't be as cluttered and you couldn't imitate staff. Will be changing the post.

I like the idea, I agree with what Hope said but all in all you just don’t give them Green or Red. Simples. Then give them the rest of the colour pallet! There is plenty of colours to just miss out 2

Basically you can't give them, green, red, pink, dark blue.

I dislike the suggestion of allowing Elite+ to change their entire rank color, it seems messy and not professional in my own opinion, I rather like the simplicity within the ranks, and their colors.
Well if the suggestions is simply changing the color of the +, then I’m all for it, though I think it’d be a fun challenge to earn each color by doing something, aka similar to achievements.
