I can hear both, actually. If my brain focuses on the higher pitch I hear "Yanny" but when I focus on the lower pitch it's "Laurel".
I remember the first time hearing it I only heard "Yanny" and my friend heard "Laurel" and I wanted to HEAR Laurel so badly but I couldn't. Then eventually, I could hear both.

the original video recording was saying laurel, others just simply overlapped higher frequencies onto it
