Hey everyone! So, if you haven’t noticed, my story ‘They’re Among Us Reboot’ has finally ended after several months. I loved writing that story so I’m happy to say I’m writing another. This story is quite simply named, THE MISSING. Set in a postmodern society, 28,000 people aged 18-24 disappear from the world. This story follows some of these missing members, who have awoken in the middle of a military compound. With their memories gone, they are vigorously trained for a war they know nothing of. What’ll happen next? Well I need characters to decide that! I will be accepting around twelve characters who will be split into two groups and please make sure they live in America at the time of their disappearances.

Personality: A 'chill' type of person, combination of an introvert and extrovert (ambivert), Clary can be petty and snarky but is all round a cool person. She loves to have a good time and loves to laugh. She is that type of person that has an Instagram account that you envy. In her own way, she is fearless, Clary is uncaring and unafraid to stand up for what is right. She can be sarcastic and eloquent. A wonderful person to be friends with if you have her trust, which isn’t something that happens often.
Backstory : Clary has lived in New York for her entire adult life, she left to the big city to start a new life. She was born in Britain, but when she turned 18, she moved to New York and now attends one of the colleges where she studies English Language. She prefers not to talk about her family back home, so she focuses on the present.
At seventeen years old, Clary was kicked out of her home in England. She spent the rest of her school year (she was in sixth form at this time) living at her ex-girlfriend's (Cammie) house before moving into a shabby apartment. She has two younger sisters, Alyssa and Esme, who supported her after their mother threw her out of the house for being bisexual.
Strengths and skills: Excellent runner, she has both the stamina and speed for it. Clary is well spoken, and is pretty good at sweet-talking. She isn’t the strongest physically but knows how to punch.
Weaknesses and fears: She does not trust people easily and appears physically weak. She hates spiders and other bugs.

Personality: Emily is shy around new people. She's a nerd and a bookworm. She is very introverted and likes to keep to herself. Usually seen alone. It is hard to make friends with her, but it's possible. However, friends can see her hidden side. She is very talkative and likes to make her friends smile. She is very vulnerable and easy to fool. She can also get very hot headed if she is pushed to it.

When she was 16, her mother was diagnosed with cancer that became terminal when she was 17 almost 18. When Emily was 18, her mother passed away. Her father becomes overwhelmed with depression and became overly abusive to his daughter, usually harming her for anything she did. He took any opportunity possible to hurt the child. After a while, Emily called a helpline and asked for advice before calling the police. Emily's father was arrested when Emily was 19, which is her age now. This was roughly 3 months before the missing.
Strengths and skills: Strengths: Her knowledge about fighting and her agility. Skills: Coding and Hacking.
Weaknesses and fears: Weaknesses: Cannot actually fight well since she is in training and her aim is awful. Fears: The people she loves turning against her and claustrophobia.

She has tattoos on her arms, on her left arm it's a tattoo of a fire dragon wrapped around her arm and on her right arm it's a tattoo of the symbol of the assassin group she was apart of. She also has lots of scars, the most noticeable is one that starts just above her right eye, going through her eye and down to her neck.
Personality: Kind, Caring, Brave, Reserved. She has extreme trust issues and it's anti-social and shy. She's very loyal and once starting to trust someone she will be by their side and even risk her life to save theirs.
Backstory: At the age of 10 she was taken from her family and forced to join an assassin creed. For the next 5 years she trained and trained until she was made to do missions. She got heads for bounties, helped cover peoples tracks when killing and assisted in large missions. The way the creed trained their assassins was through torture in attempts to take away all emotion from the warrior and make them become ruthless killers. Iris hated the life she was forced to leave but had no choice because if she left they'd kill her and her family.
Strengths and skills: She is strong and sneaky, a real silent warrior. She knows martial arts and is very agile.
Weaknesses and fears: She is often too shy for her own good. Social interaction is really not her forte. Her greatest fear is losing those she trusts and cares for.
Any extra info: She is always up for a fight. Her favourite weapon is a katana or two long daggers.

Appearance: Alex is flat-chested about 6 foot. They have a mix of colours for their long curly straight hair, mainly brown, at the ends of their hair they have dipped dyed it a dark by visible purple. Alex's skin is a almost caramel brown, from living in Spain for a couple of years, they have a scar from their right cheek to their left collarbone and it is slightly faded, they also have a tattoo of a symbol on their right shoulder. Alex's eyes show mischievous greed, their left eye is a storm grey and their right is a sea blue, staring into their eyes which look like that of a wolf's but makes it feel like staring at a burning sun. Alex wears their white t-shirt with the quote "Ah! the element of surprise." on it and a dark red hoodie, with the one big pocket thing.
Personality: Mischievous, sarcastic 80% of the time, is a massive trickster, makes jokes all the times, is extremely smart, impulsive, hides away weaknesses, doesn't trust people that well, is great at making plans and diversions. All this seems to make them like a fox, a trickster, but really they're a wolf, loyal, stands up for what is right, intelligent, non-aggressive, and friendly with the ability to make strong emotional attachments. Is somewhat of rebel/renegade, so mostly introverted.
Backstory: Alex is mischievous, they always have been, they lived in England for most of their life stealing food and items for life from people's houses, their skills help them out by picking locks and such. One day Alex was caught, the police came and questioned them, their brain a little messed up due to once being tutored by their now dead parents, who died unknowingly how one night, and acted a bit off the loof. The Police found out Alex had no parents or family, and when they came back from thinking about what to with them, Alex was gone, the restraints on their chair were torn, a tiny bit of blood was all that remained and a open window with a sticky note attached to it reading: Please don't come looking for me, xx Alex Silverfeather. They managed to worm their way into a cargo ship to Spain, were they lived for 3 years, learning Spanish and stealing from the locals of the city they lived in. Alex loved it their, the language, the sun and the cursing people as Alex ran from their store. Until one day Alex was spotted by an ex English Policeman who was one of the people who questioned Alex and asked around with the locals asking about them, eventually he called the Spanish police and told them what Alex did in England and Spain. They went after Alex, but they were smarter, they went on another cargo ship to America New York, wear they blended in and made a life by stealing things. Alex was running from the cops where they bumped into Clary Ada Young who agreed to let Alex stay until the cops left the area, Alex and Clary became friends after that, always bumping into each other in the American streets.
Strengths and skills: Comebacks, smack talking, persuasive, street running and trickery. Picklocking, traps, parkour, long distant and short distant runner, is good at moving fast, has extremely good hand-eye coordination.

Personality: Arrogant, Selfish, but Polite. If you annoy her. she will start being She doesn't like to communicate, but not because she is shy, more like 'cause she doesn't Need communication. Or that's at least what she is telling to herself. She is that type of person that uses complicated words in her sentences. The Reason she is pretty distanced from others is because she doesn't want to make Friends.

She learned to ignore it, learned to not care what the others say, and to definitely not trust anyone. There were people who wanted to befriend her, but in the end they just used her out. She was an A Student in School, and a snitch. Her Facial Expression is Neutral most of the time, but deep inside is a whole Concert of Emotions. She loved to just go to the Library and Read Books. Books opened a Door to a different Universe for her, and distracted her from her lonely reality.
Strengths and skills: Very good at Distracting People. Also, she knows how to be so quiet you even forget that she's there.
Weaknesses and fears (must have at least one of each): She is very bad at Fighting, even a 11 year old might beat her.
And she is scared to trust someone, that will deceive her.
