Murder Mutation Ideas

Some ideas for mutations.

  1. There is double the amount of murderers and detectives. This would be interesting and bring out the best (or worst) in people, being able to keep track of how many killers there are. Damn...
  2. Fake weapons. The murderer is given a fake gun, they cant use it.
  3. If you shoot an innocent person, you die as well.
  4. The murderer cannot sprint.
  5. Everyone is blind throughout the game, everyone except the murderer.
  6. No communication. You cannot talk in the chat, or use the communication book thing.

Honestly I believe these are great suggestions, but I’m going to go through things we should consider aswell. Overall though, I do like this suggestion, this is just my opinion.

1. Honestly this one is fine, but we’d probably stay with the “one detective” but more murder. Not a lot of the mutations benefit the murder and it would be nice to atleast have one or two that do. It’s already easy enough to get a gun.

2. This probably should be just a perk in the ‘gun game’ that has a time limit.

3. That’s a bit unfair, especially if someone was to accidentally shoot someone in the way of the murder. I mean maybe in mutations it’d be okay, seen as mutations is adding to difficulty levels in a way, but I’m not sure about that one.

4&5&6. I like these ones.

7. That’s really unfair and can lead to a lot of issues if you spawned behind a door, which can happen on some maps, this could lead to multiple issues;
• If you’re the murder you cannot kill anyone, defeating the purpose of being the murder
• If you’re a bystander, and the last one left the murder cannot kill you. Making it unfair on players waiting and on the murder.
• Generally, this just wouldn’t be fun, you wouldn’t be able to explore areas of the map, as you need to open doors to get to them.

That's why I suggested it to be mutations, also it's the other person's fault for being in the way, but the gunner should check before shooting anyway

This is not like hunger games :l
In hunger games, you have to stuff yourself, the maps are bigger and you don't one shot some one by hitting him or by throwing him a knife.
It would most likely look like a yandere convention :v

I love all of these suggestions. My favourite one is the blindness with the murderer. Instead of being completely blind like at the beginning of the game (that’s blindness 2) it could be regular blindness so they still have a chance.

Also, in oppose to the “speed” gamemode we already have, we could also have slowness where the only way everyone can move is by jumping around.
 
I think this could be fun! I especially like the idea of giving the Murderer a fake gun, because that would add a level of uncertainty in the Bystanders. Should the Murderer have to find enough emeralds to purchase the fake gun, or should they just get it from the start?

This is not like hunger games :l
In hunger games, you have to stuff yourself, the maps are bigger and you don't one shot some one by hitting him or by throwing him a knife.

I really like them :> Specially the fake weapons it adds a taste and a difficulty level. But the lock door isn't fun because chances are the mur can't get to you either.

With locked doors, since we can spawn anywhere, things'd get interesting. In some maps you can destroy windows, so that'll help you get out if you need to ;)

But you can't sit there waiting for 5 emeralds to spawn if you need to do anything

Couldn’t you be potentially trapped with locked doors? In some maps, you can’t shoot the windows/ there are no windows. How would the murderer kill the player? Would the player just be trapped?
