Apparently here.
So I have already posted this elsewhere, but I also believe it belongs here. I also posted this as forums because the competition would be held on the forums, and I could not find a discord tag. I don't know if it exists.

Anyway, the idea is for a small event, a forum post is made, and everyone can submit their ideas for an emote in the PZ discord, along with what the name of it is.

Any submissions would be accepting the possibly permanent use or possible deletion later on of their emote on the discord.

Top three submissions would be added. Top three get a small coin reward.

Why exactly do we need a emote competition, there are already several compititions and this just increases the burden on insights team. -1

Well actually, the insights would love to gather more new and original ideas for competitions. We’d like to have a variety of competitions and events, rather then sticking to the same ones. The insights has many people working together, and we accomplish a lot quickly because of this. So this wouldn’t exactly be a ‘burden’ on us. Specifically seen as some teams are dedicated towards taking suggestions like these and bringing them to life. The same can be said about mini games, and gadgets, even commands. We’d love to read more suggestions, giving us ideas on how to improve the server, and make it more interesting, in a a way.

Either way, my total opinion on this suggestion is quite confused. I understand the creation of an emote, yet I don’t exactly see how it would work. Would it be a picture digitally drawn of a staff member making an odd face? How was these emotes actually work? Would there be genres of emojis? You need to be a little bit more specific.

Also I believe events are supposed to be submitted on an ‘event/competition’ thread posted by Gamer, just a heads up ;)

Emotes can be any image under 50kb, preferably with a 1:1 aspect ratio. Technically any image could be an emote, but drawing/icon based ones are typically used instead. While it could be a funny portrait of a staff member, it could literally be anything meaningful. After they have been uploaded they can be given a title that they can be used as. So I could name one "cool", and if implemented as "cool" then I can then do : cool : in the discord server.

On the lines of the forum thread, while I'm sure it's probably an exception to the rule, it's a cold thread and I don't want to some how be the one guy who gets punished for it... it's just one of those irrational fears of mine :p Thanks for the heads up though!

An event ideas thread was opened. Requesting lock @SilentHowl @Dragonnn_
