Im flipping done with school, I hate it, I hate everyone there, I hate the teachers.
Here's Why...
1st of all,the people; Everyone jokes about people who aren't gay being gay and while the actual gay people are sitting in corners, hiding, because they're the main target of bullies. I myself am Gay and if I wasn't that stupid-shy kid I would of screamed across the room like "GAY PEOPLE ARE THE SAME AS STRAIGHTS! WE ALL BREATHE THE SAME AIR YOU DUMMY!" The people there also scream at everyone who has LP or JP Merch like "OH BE PART OF THE LOGANG!" "MAVERICKKK!!" "LOGANPAUL.COM/SHOPP YEEE!" It's overall annoying when they do that, especially to stupid-shy kids who don't like attention. For StarClan's sake! mind your own dang business! (i've been reading too many Warriors books aha)
2nd of all, the teachers; The teachers are honestly crap, they give us an hour of homework each night and I have 7 flipping periods a day, gimme a break! The periods I spent the most time on is 2,5 & 7th. I once spent an entire day of my weekend doing for for 5th! Just Sue me If I don't do your homework! sheesh!

Ok I'm basically done :p
-Weird thoughts-
Why do schools weigh you?, why do they have to know your weight and height? too personal?
Why do they serve terrible food?
Why do we learn another language? Isn't one language enough?!

Because they want to know the inside and out of us. It's stupid - during that hour of time we could have learnt about something useful.
Why do they serve terrible food?
Jamie Oliver. N'uff said. Google it.
Why do we learn another language?
This is the one I'm stuck on. Lemme walk up to this 8 yr old kid in france, ask his name, if he has a dog, favourite colour, directions to the church, and his entire family tree?
Isn't one language enough?!
I agree. If we WANT to learn another lanuage, we'll go to college. Simple as that.

I couldnt have said it better myself. I'm Bi and half the people in my class probably wont even know what i mean... i'm in top set.

My best friend has a Jake Paul hoodie, cause he likes him as a youtuber, and he usually gets things like "its embarrasing to be out when people can see you with it on!" But he constantly says "people need to get a hint that I like Jake Paul and that won't change." But he has a short fuse and cries easily so he usually comes out in it but with a coat over it, its usually why when we're outside together I tell him he doesn't have to keep the coat on cause I'm fine with it.

1. It's most likely something to do in case of emergency. They don't do this at my school, but if something were to happen to one of us, we're suppose to have a Student ID card on us to identify who we are (yes I know I don't have one. they're expensive!).

2. I hear a lot of my American friends complain about their cafeteria having the worst food, but I disagree completely. My cafeteria has cookies, muffins, sometimes soup, fries, poutine (because, Canada), fruit, vegetables, pudding, and a lot of other things. Sometimes they even serve Chinese food! If the food is a problem, try making a formal complaint to the schoolboard/principal or get your parents to. Suggest healthy and yummy alternatives your cafeteria can replace the yucky stuff with, to say the least. Don't like the mac and cheese? Tell them to make an option for grilled paninis! So much soda? Suggest putting in some white, chocolate and strawberry milk!

3. One day you may meet someone you have to talk to because they're speaking another language. It could be someone struggling to order food because they don't know English well, or maybe they're looking for directions to the nearest bathroom. There is another solution, to ignore them, but will that give you the satisfaction of being a good person?

I go to a language school where you are required to learn three languages until you're 16, and you can take a 4th and 5th if you want. I've been learning French since I was 6, and I picked up German for a few years, then Italian and Latin for a few years.

Languages unite the world, support multiculturalism and teach kids about different cultures other than the ones you were brought up in. It educates children at a young age so they don't grow up in fear of other cultures, which is the main seed of racism today.

Additionally, us native English speakers are privileged that we're native english-speakers as it is the most-worldly spoken language in the world. You can't just expect everyone else to learn english so they can communicate with us :) One day your second language may save your life.

I've been learning 3 language since I've started school. I really appreciate learning them since it helps me learn the culture of a country. Personally, I really believe that when you go to a certain country, you should learn a bit of their language. As Dizzeh said above, you can't expect everyone to learn English just because the world-wide known language is English. The most spoken language is Mandarin, and most people aren't expected to learn Mandarin if they aren't Chinese. If we all didn't learn to speak each other's dialect, we would never be able to communicate with each other, and our world wouldn't be as international and globalized as it is now!

Because AMERICA!!
For realsies though, I've never heard of any UK school doing this (you guessed it I'm British). That's sensitive data that only your GP/doctors (and yourself) should need to have.

Why do they serve terrible food?
My primary and secondary school served terrible food but secondary did some pretty neat sausage rolls I'd always get. My sixth form college canteen does some somewhat healthy good snack food that I'm a fan of now.

I suppose it improves your employability as you're able to talk to people (i.e. customers/colleagues) of that different language without so much of a barrier. It also helps to introduce people to other cultures than their own, so that they know what's happening in the world and be more open to different faiths/customs etc.

We all mostly live in multinational and multicultural communities and countries. We have to accept eachother and get along, languages increases your awareness.

I did German for 3 years in secondary school and then dropped it before GCSE. It's not compulsory at my college (ages 16-18) though so thus I only study 4 courses (none are a language).

This is a really controversial subject. I understand you hate school and so do others but you just have to get through it. The one thing that motivates me throughout school is knowing that I am in a lucky position. Having an education and food every day isn't something everyone in the world gets.
