DEVELOPER LOG | 2017-11-29

Creative
  • We've been working on updating it to 1.12! We should hopefully have it done by the end of the year.
    • Don't worry, all you 1.8 people will still be able to play! You might not be able to see the new blocks, though.
  • Hoppers now transfer less often, but will transfer more each time. This will make them much less laggy for the server, while still maintaining the proper hopper transfer speed :)
  • We changed grief-prevention plugins, which should hopefully fix the random crashing and being un-joinable.
Murder
  • The price of purchasing your name in murder has been reduced from $4 to $2.
    • We decided to do this because the $4 price was back when there weren't many murder names. Since there are many more names in murder now, a lower price is ideal
  • Added a "Your Name In Murder x16" package
SG
  • We've added some tools to hopefully find any strange bugs where the game says its in progress when it isn't.
General
  • Builder ranks should now link to the website properly
  • Fixed that Elite Survival appeared offline in the lobby
We've also got some secret stuff we're working on, but you'll see that stuff when it comes out ;)

My tiny non-dev brain can't handle all this magic... ;~;
Basically unless you use 1.12 none of the cool 1.12 stuff will be available to you. This way the stubborn players that won't switch from 1.8 will miss out on cool blocks and stuff - giving them an actual reason to want to update.

That makes more sense now, thank you.

Since the 1.12 was closed down for.. classified reasons.. will it still (hopefully) be back up by the end of 2017?
