Yea. I understand. You're probably cringing at the title of this thread. Don't worry. You're in the same boat as literally everyone else that will end up reading this. Laifu, in a word is magical. If you think about it, hard enough, and long enough, you get to one fact: How exactly does life exist? Well, think about it this way; The Earth was placed close enough to the Sun, that we won't freeze to death, and the Earth wasn't placed too far away from the Sun, so we wouldn't burn to death. When you do the math, that gives this occurrence a 0.001% chance out of 1'000'000'000 to occur. We are the only human laifu in the solar system, and we have a freaking BLACK HOLE in the middle of our galaxy. But then you re-think the concept. What makes our Earth so unique? Counteracting the fact that humans have been destroying it since we came upon existence. We have lush, full plants. Trees taller than blue whales. Creatures so powerful, that they can withstand the pressure and intense frostbitten weather of outer space. But that brings us back to our race: Homo Sapiens. It's Latin for 'Wise man.' But are we really so wise, that we destroy our world and pollute our fresh, clean air, kill our lush, full plants. Break down the trees taller than the blue whales. Our race has come far enough to split the atom in two, and create machines, capable of creating new machines. Our species has been on this planet for just about 140'000 years. The Earth is over 2 million. When the math is done, you get the outstanding numbers; If the Earth was 24 hours old., we would have been on it for 1 second. 1 second, we destroy countless species, in 1 second we slowly peel away our ozone layer, what keeps us alive at night. In 1 second, we fill our ocean with plastic, oils and garbage. The meaning of laifu isn't just what humans mend it to be. It's how we think it, and create it.
