Lights Out
Lights Out is a game inspired by Bedwars. The main goals and rules stay the same. The goal is to eliminate your opponents and see who can stay 'awake' the longest.

How it works:
In a round, there will be 6-8 colours. They will be:
Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Blue
Purple
Black
White

The game will have two modes, Solo and Team mode.
Solo mode: 8 players maximum, 6 players needed to start the game.
Team mode: 16 players maximum, 12 players needed to start the game.
(Each game will be about 10-15 minutes long.)

Each colour will have a base. The base will contain an Item Shop, Upgrade Store, a bed and a lantern. The lantern can be a beacon, a head that gives off light etc. If you are unaware why we need a lantern, a lantern is our version of the bed, (in the original Bedwars). Lanterns would respawn the player, back to their base, after they have been killed. (Once a player has been killed they have to wait 5 seconds in order to respawn.) If a player dies and their lantern is destroyed, they won't be able to respawn. (Which is also known as the FINAL KILL.)

If a colour's lantern gets destroyed, a message will pop up saying:

"Lights out for Purple!" (In chat)
"Lights out for you." (On the player's screen if they are on the Purple team.)

If a player gets killed, this message will pop up in chat:

"Etgo has been tucked into bed by allonely!"
and
"Etgo has been put to sleep by alloney!" (If it's a final kill)

If the entire team has been eliminated this message will pop up in chat:

"Purple has fallen asleep!"

If a colour has been eliminated, (meaning all of their teammates died and their lantern has been destroyed, their skin(s) will be lying on their base's bed. (Using the same method that is used for the corpses in Murder)

The Currency: (Optional)
The currency of this game will be different from the original Bedwars.
(From the least to the most valuable.)

IRON -> COINS (Sunflowers would be used as coins)
GOLD -> SUGAR

DIAMONDS -> COOKIES
EMERALDS -> CAKE

The Map:
I haven't thought of a great map idea to use as an example, but it will be similar to Bedwars' maps. (The boxes which are marked as "Cookie" are the Cookie/Diamond spawn locations.

Item Shop:
The Item Shop will be a NPC, (preferably a teddy bear.) If a player right clicks the bear, the following will pop up:

(From left to right: Blocks, Armor, Weapons, Tools, Potions and Utility.)

Blocks:
Blocks will contain wool, clay, glass, wood, end stone and obsidian.
o2NMVHD.png

Wool and glass are the weakest blocks, they can be destroyed by hand.
Clay can also be destroyed by hand, but it will take longer.
(See what destroys wood and obsidian blocks at Tools and what destroys end stone at Utility.)

Armor:
A player will start off with a leather cap and tunic according to their given colour. A player can upgrade their armor.

Beginners (Just Cap & Tunic)
Leather Armor
Iron Armor
Diamond Armor

Note: Armor is permanent.

Weapons:
Player will also start off with a wooden sword (unbreakable), they can upgrade their weapon to a stone sword, iron sword or a diamond sword.

Note: Weapons are unbreakable but once a player dies and respawns they lose their weapon and start off with a wooden sword.

Tools:
Tools will have an axe, a pickaxe and a fishing rod.

An axe can destroy glass, wool, clay and wood.

A pickaxe can destroy all blocks.

Potions:
Potions will cost 1 emerald each.

The current potions will be invisibility, night vision and regeneration.

Utility:

(From left to right: Golden apple, tnt, snowballs, eggs, ender pearl (optional), bone (wolf spawner) | (optional) and a spawn egg (spawns an iron golem.)

A golden apple will increase your health.
Tnt can destroy wool, clay, wood and end stone.
An iron golem will stay at your base to protect your lantern.
[/SPOILER]

Upgrade Store:
The Upgrade Store will be another NPC (also a teddy bear). If a player right clicks this NPC, this will pop up:
(The upgrades will be: Upgrade Weapons, Upgrade Armor, Add Swiftness, Bed Bugs, Sugar Rush and Lights Out.)

Upgrade Weapons:
If chosen, any weapons the team/player has and will have in the future, will be enchanted. (With Sharpness or something along that line.)

Upgrade Armor:
Similar to Upgrade Weapons, but with Armor.

Note: Upgrade Weapons & Armor will be changed. So please suggest any improvements!

Add Swiftness:
If chosen, the entire team will gain infinity speed.

Bed Bugs:
This is similar to Bedwars' "It's a trap!". For example, if Purple buys this trap, the next time a team/player approaches Purple's base, silverfish will spawn and attack the player.

Sugar Rush:
Players can Haste.

Lights Out:
Also a trap. For example, if Purple buys this trap, the next time a team/player approaches Purple's base, they will be blinded for 5-15 seconds.

idk like someone gets blocks at the start or speed until they die or something?

maybe release and advertise this as bedwars. attracts people a lot more. "gotta cash in on that name recognition"

I personally love this! It’s a nice spin on one of my favorite games. Hopefully this’ll get implemented. ;)

@jedijoe may I ask why you decided to give this thread a “don’t implement”? I’d love to get your opinion on this as nobody else sees a problem with this.

I really like this idea! It’s very unique to the original game mode and if it were to be implemented I’d definitely play it!
+1

How will they be lying in the bed if the bed was broke? That’s the only issue I have, other than that I love it!!

The lantern is what needs to be broken not the bed.

I like this suggestion, very well thought out and could provide hours of fun if implemented.

Having beds and a lantern to me sounds quite confusing, I’d stick with either or because if I didn’t know the rules properly I wouldn’t know what to break

The lantern, because as Etgo stated above with lights out, it's basically like their bedtime. So when they get killed, they're put to bed idk if this makes sense heh heh.

Suggestion : When the lantern gets broken, it should go dark on their screen for like three seconds, then go back to normal.

Lights Out/Slumber Party
Slumber Party is a game inspired by Bedwars. The main goals and rules stay the same. The goal is to eliminate your opponents and see who can stay the longest 'awake'.

How it works:
In a round, there will be 8 colours. They will be:
Red
Orange
Yellow

Blue
Purple
Black
White

The game will have two modes, Solo and Team mode. Teams will have two players per colour.
Each colour will have a base. The base will contain an Item Shop, Upgrade Store, a bed and a lantern (Can be a skull or a beacon etc.)

Instead of beds (in the original Bedwars) each player/team will have a lantern. If a player's lantern gets destroyed, a message will pop up saying:

"Lights out for Purple!" (In chat)
"Lights out for you." (On the player's screen if they are on the Purple team.)

If a player gets killed, this message will pop up in chat:

"Etgo has been tucked into bed by allspooky!"
and
"Etgo has been put to sleep by allspooky!" (Final Kill)

If the entire team has been eliminated this message will pop up in chat:

"Purple has fallen asleep!"

If a colour has been eliminated, their skin(s) will be lying on their base's bed.

Note:
-
I will edit the suggestion when I see flaws in it/Grammar and spelling errors/want to add some other ideas.
-Also, how much each item would cost is still unknown.
-The game will be set in night time since it's a 'slumber party'.
No big response needed, I just love the idea! I suggested something similar to this a while back, and people seemed to love it. Loads of people are suggesting this now actually, but this is different. This has a bit of originality added to it (kind of like how Egg Wars became Bed Wars) and I feel that this really does have the potential to bring many people to Party Zone!

I really enjoyed reading your suggestion. You've turned a standard bed wars game into a fun and eye catching game, which will interest more people. I'd defiantly love to see this get implemented. Good job<3

What do you mean disobedient? I was just saying how I'd like to see his suggestion get implemented?

I also thought that more modes would be nice, but I only chose 1/2 players per colour since the server doesn't have a lot of players. Until the amount of players increases, I don't think having 3/4 players per colour would be necessary.
