Staff Interviews ~ #5 - The Return
Welcome to Staff Interviews! Every once in a while I'll be asking some staff members questions, and posting the answers here!
——
This time I'm asking:
1. Is the build team, or any individuals on the build team, currently in progress of building something for Party Zone?
2. If yes, do you have any hints towards this project? If no, do you have any hints for us about future projects?
3. How did you learn to build?
4. Do you have any tips for those who aspire to become part of the build team?
BONUS QUESTION: 5.You’re a builder. Which probably means you’re on the build server a lot. People might not know much about you, so could give us a little information about yourself?
——
@Aluux :
1. I am personally building something of my own, not for partyzone though, However for a team build we are working on something for you all.
2. I can tell you actually! As Halloween is just around the corner us as a team are currently working on a Halloween hub for you all! so you have that to look forward to
3. I watched many youtube videos, as well as working for various build teams over the period of the 4 years I've been playing minecraft.
4. Do not rush builds, take your time on them and you will get there in the end, also watch youtube videos of good builders and see how their techniques could help you with building too.
5. Okay well, I'm 15, English and I do work in the build team, but I am a helper as well so people may see me a little more often than you think, I've played minecraft since 25th December 2012 and I joined partyzone around July 2014.

@shapdoggy :
1. Yes we are currently are building a few projects, as well as individually I am making some things by myself.
2. Well obviously there is an update coming to the hub, and like updates to most main areas. as for myself, it would be hinted to as being maps.
3. I started out by learning by myself and slowly built it up intobeing professional, as well as learning from other builders in my numerous build teams which I have worked for.
4. Take your time, A good build can take days to complete, there isno need to rush a build, as that will only end in it not being of builder quality. Also ask questions when you need, we can always find a bit of time to come give advice.
5.Okay so, I actually spend a lot of time in Creative, but I am an OG, having been around before the server opened. I went through an inactive bit in which I were BuildLeader for a large server. ThenI came back on here, because I love the PartyZone community. I love speaking to people and having fun and relaxing, so you'll often catch me enjoying myself on Creative, be sure to say Hi andget to know me, I love making friends
——
@WorldEdit_ :
1.Yes.
2.Its that time again
3. almost 5 years of Practice, motivation, tutorials and allot of other builders
4.Practice, motivation, tutorials and dont be afraid to ask for help to learn.
5.i used to be a builder before on pz. im in college learning experimental physics and theoretical physics. i beatbox, sing and go out for the sesh boiiii (Irish term for Party)
——
@GamerGuts :
1. Yes. A lot is in the works and every builder has been working as hard as they can on the build server.
2. We've been trying not to share too much and we've even thought about just telling people we're building pixel art. (Haha) All I'm going to say is There's a lot we wouldn't leave you guys without any special builds for major holidays. (Look at my twitter for occasional sneak peeks and build server shenanigans.)
3. My first experience seriously building was on a server for Mithrintia (I don't think it's around anymore) where you had plots which would be reviewed and they basically taught us how to build after that we had PartyZone. We'd worked with many builders join and build teams and I'd learn from them along the way.
4. Like anything you want to learn building is a skill that takes time to study and work on. Look at tutorials, ask people who's builds you look up to. Refine your style, make it your own.
5. I'm GamerGuts. The Hipster/Founder/Admin/CM/Build Team Leader/Person with too many titles and jobs.
I hide my personality in what I do so you'll learn about me from what builds we make.
