[WARNING: i wrote this one my phone cause i felt like it - sorry if theres any spelling mistakes. I might fix them tomorrow if there is] (also, i'm starting to put references to other things in this story too. Don't be afraid to say if you find something that's familisr to you!)
Jackal opened his eyes, slowly.
"Damn... that was a messed-up drea-" ...he must still be dreaming, if that's what he thinks it is.
There were strands - strands of gold surrounding him, he looked around warily.
This "gold" was almost... grass-like. Was it crops? Could he be in a field of hay? But it looked so pure!
The breeze softly blew the strands around. Inbetween the movements of the strands at his feet he could see Kage standing, looking to the north-west of how Jackal was lying.
"So, you're finally awake, it's been a long time." Kage turned around, noticing he was conscious. "You've been out for a while since we went in to my shadow void," she turned back around and muttered under her breath; "Humans.." she sighed.
Kage still had her hood up so that you could only see her face and fringe; you couldn't see her ears or any further back than that.
Jackal sat up, rubbing his head.
"Where are we, exactly, Cage?" He asked confusingly - he looked around over the golden crops.
"It's Kage - not Cage. They're two completely different things..." she sighed. "We're in Farosh. It's a city by the coast."
Jackal looked at the back of Kage - confused.
"We're in a wheat field."
Kage turned and grinned, she pointed to behind Jackal.
A city - it wasn't futuristic. Nothing like Tokyo, New York, or London... but it was just buildings closely packed together, mostly made of stone. Other not all buildings were the same height. There were a few towers and so on. There was a rather large building that looked pretty new. Jackal set his sight on that building.
He got up and started to fastly walk towards the city. Kage notices and ran after him to catch up.
"Where are you going!? You get spotted in there, the council will come after you." Kage explained,
"Ah, yes, little miss hood." Jackal teased.
"I only got the hood idea to blend in back in your world from you." She shook her head.
"Huh- wait- My world?" Jackal went wide-eyed. "So.. just before there- back in those streets- that wasn't some sort of convention!? It was all REAL!?" Jackal stood over Kage.
She muttered;
"You're only noticing that now..?"
Jackal kept his hood up, his upper face appearing shadowed. The same for Kage. They wandered into a store.
"Put that on."
"TH-THIS!?" Jackal stuttered, "This is the sort of crap i wore to my prom!" Jackal looked at Kage, hoping for her to have some realisation.
"What's a prom..?" She asked.
"I'll tell you later..." He tutted,
"Fine then - just put those on." Kage shook her head.
"F-Fine.."
"What the hell is this..!?" A scream came from Jackal's changing room. "THIS DOES NOT LOOK LIKE THE TUX THAT I PICKED UP! ONE SLEEVE!?"
