Need story ideas / plot twists / etc

what the title says
I have ocs, but i also do the sign up threads too so

Any ideas? What i need is like a setting - a hs, space, modern world, fantasy world, college, university, etcetc

I also need plot twist ideas

Personally, I think high school stories are kind of overdone these days, so I would probably go with Space, Modern World or Fantasy World. Or something completely different; that part is up to you.
pull a rogue one and kill everybody at the end
 
I haven't seen many fantasy stories lately so it'd be really cool if you did that! It could be medieval based or modern based. (My favourite series is urban fantasy).
Plot twists: The main character's hero is actual a baddie. They find out they have a unique power. Etc!

the last time I wrote something it was super weeb-ish and it sucked so here's how to not be bad writer like me
here is hwo 2 mak stori fromula !!!1

protag needs to be not generic and needs some development emotionally/mentally and if there is superpowers build on that too
make it short and concise, NO FILLER. make characters and interactions seem consistent and meaningful to give insight into the characters.
NO COMEDY. PLEASE.
no deus ex machina type stuff
antag has depth and a reason for doing things, no kayaba akihiko crap
plot has to make logical sense
plot must always progress.
protag also needs something to be relatable or at least realistic in their portrayal. most writers use a tragedy from the past as a source of internal struggle for a character. this makes the reader more immersed in the character.
no large cast lol. 3 side characters max


my advice would be very different if we were talking a long long story

There's a difference between filler and character development. Filler is stuff that's completely unnecessary to the story. Interesting facts about the characters, though, are relevant to the story.

I think that a Fantasy would be cool, but then I would like to see a proper life of people outside school.

also, this is a forum story not a novel. we want straight to the point and no dilly-dallying at all.

Dilly-dally? Could be more of a hidden message or time to throw in secret over shadowing in a filler story but it still looks like a filler and its funny but it has awesome secrets (I got too far lol)

Maybe a medival or fantasy story,

twist plot jk jk uhh make the people go through challenges and some of them die, then at the final stage, make somebody say "You have made it far into the game." Sorry I'm bad at ideas xD
 
I might aswell write a novel now then

Today i might try think up a situation and create a story today so look out for it

Otherwise i might link it here if i do

My thinking right now, it might seem confusing:

●Modern world
●Fantasy world
●Varied characters with varied personalities
●Magic
●Wizards / Mages etc
●Guilds, Clans, etc. These are groups of Wizards/Mages
●Arcs / Plots
●Adding characters as the story progresses. But not too many as we may forget some completely.
●Making sure that characters, yes, can die. This relates to not making the story overcrowded like the last ●.


I ALREADY GOT AN IDEA WHILE WRITING THAT DAYUM
