I've decided that instead of posting a new thread every time I update the story, I'm just going to have this one thread. So, I present Missing Pieces!!

(Luna's POV)
Zoë was the first to get to my house. It was about 30 minutes after school and she had changed out of the uniform and taken her pink hair out of her pony tail.
"Why pink?" I asked curiously when we were waiting for the others.
"I've always liked pastels," she responded simply. "Oh, Cooper told me to tell you that he might be a bit late, he's having a tough time getting past his mom."
"Ok, that works." I said. "One more question, why do you spell your name with the two dots?"
"My parents were big fans of Percy Jackson. I'm named after two characters. Zoë from that and Rose from Harry Potter."
"Were?"
"I'm adopted."
"Oh... me too."
"Really?"
"Well, kind of." I said, not offering anymore details. Just then we heard the doorbell ring. Aurora and Kuriama were together outside. Both holding big backpacks like Zoë's.
"Who are we waiting for?" Aurora asked.
"Cooper, of course." Kuriama said sitting next to me.
"He'll be here soon," Zoë said. "Were your parents on board with this Rory?" Aurora shook her head.
"I may have snuck out. Were yours?" She asked.
"Yeppers!" Zoë responded.
"How do you guys all know each other?" I asked.
"Zoë is basically the sister I never had. Her parents and mine were really good friends. Cooper moved in next door to Zoë when we were 7. Aurora came into the mix around third grade." Kuriama said ticking off people with his fingers.
Just then, the doorbell rang again. I hurried over to get it and, after wiping his feet off the rug, Cooper came in. He walked in and sat next to Zoë.
"We ready to get this party started?" He asked.
"Yeah, we were waiting for you." I motioned for them to follow me and we went into the backyard. "This is Jules. Jules used to work at the ring place." Jules gave a little wave. "This is their twin brother Mark."
"Hey," he said.
"Ok, so what do we need to do?" Zoë asked.
"Well, we need to train you first. It's dangerous outside of the town." Jules said. They continued, "No one is supposed to be able to find the workshop so there will be Things waiting for you."
"Wait, but it's just more towns, what's dangerous about that?" Rory asked, she looked confused.
"It isn't just towns." Mark answered. "That's what the people are told so they don't leave. It is dangerous. Very much so."
"Anyway," Jules went on, "The only way to find the workshop is if you have guides. Otherwise you get hopelessly lost. So Mark and I are coming with you."
"Awesome," Cooper said with a crooked smile.
"So, we brought you guys weapons. You'll need them. If you run into any of the Things that I mentioned-"
"What are the things?" Rory asked.
"Not things, Things." Jules answered. "They were made out of clay to protect the workshop. If they sense any outsiders trying to get in, they'll attack."
"So, you're going to train us? Train us with what?" Kuriama asked suspiciously.
"With these weapons and your powers."
