Hello, I'm an active player and my favorite game has to be murder. The whole concept of the game is really enjoyable, be stealthy and don't get caught. Although I love the game, I think it would be cool if you were able to create private murder games for you and your friends to kill each other (sounds morbid, but I suppose you can get the point) maybe this feature would only be accessible by a certain rank like elite + etc. Can you please consider this, I think it would be a really fun implementation into the game! (Staff members can join the game at anytime to observe the players activity, to see whether they are abusing the rules or not)

The staff won't be able to moderate these games, so if someone breaks the rules, they will have to rely someone's recording in the game IF they happened to report it.

Could you add that to the thread, I still don't think this is a good idea though. Sorry. -1.
I have added that little bit to the end of the thread, thanks for the tip

As Unstitched said (And I quote):
"The simple answer is we don't have the kind of resources to run private lobbies. Larger servers can afford to do this, but we don't have enough players and thus income to support such a costly idea.

Get PartyZone in the 1000s player count wise and we'll consider it further

Rejected for now"

Staff moderation isn't really a thing when it comes to private lobbies, as the reason for most moderation is to keep a few players from ruining everyone's experience.
When it's all friends in the same lobby, no one is bothered, so in reality, the rules shouldn't be a problem as long as the rule breaking stays in there.
And in the end staff will be able to join the games regardless, they'll just probably leave it be so they don't bother the players.

This is the only viable reason for it, and it's completely understandable.

I don't think breaking the rules should be allowed under any circumstanc, weather is be with friends, or with people you don't know. For all we know, people might not care who's in the private lobby with them, so long as there are no staff. Meaning someone could be and be sensitive to people breaking the rules, and wind up feeling harassed.

Around 3 years ago I hanged out with a friend with their friends. They weren't very nice hah. Quite rude honestly and welll me over emotional 12 year old years stuff. Honestly it just takes 1 person you don't know to break you with your friends. Luckily I still have contact with that friend <3.

Do I really need to spell this out though.
The rules would still technically be there.
However, if no one reports it and a staff never sees it, they can never be convicted, if the friend would like to, he can report.
If you're bothered by your friends on say, a discord server, which has no rules, what do you do?
You leave.
Same on Minecraft, only on this server, you can report rule breakers.

However, if it doesn't bother you, shouldn't be a problem.

You can report them yes, but the staff shouldn't have to rely on reporting in the private games. And a staff wouldn't want to join the private games, to not bother the players.

Keeping my -1. Even if you still disagree with this, there's this:

Many reasons for me why this should not be implemented.

1- You're completely missing my point here.
The rules do not matter in these cases. The rules only exist to keep fair play and friendly play, however, with friends, this is less of an issue, since friends are, you know, friends.

If there's hacking, either all the friends are hacking and having fun, the point of the server, or one person is hacking, and they have a multitude of options to avoid this, and that's only if they're not consenting to only him hacking.

A - Kick them from the lobby
B - Leave
C - Report him, because the rules still apply even if they don't matter.

If there's cursing, either -
A - They're all cursing together, as friends, having fun, the point of the server.
B - One person is cursing, and they can either -

A - Kick them from the lobby
B - Leave
C - Report him, because the rules still apply even if they don't matter.

As long as everyone is consenting, it doesn't matter, because it's a private game. No one else will be affected, and all those being affected would be consenting.

2- I never said Sean's point was invalid, in fact, I exactly said -
This is the only viable reason for it, and it's completely understandable.

I think staff should take a look at this thread and decide whether or not to lock it.
(Since it has 2 duplicate threads already.)

I don't agree with this. It makes it a lot harder to catch rude people as the players that report them won't be able to join the server. They won't tell on each other if they're all friends and can stay unbanned although they have broken many rules. They'll know when staff are there as it is someone they don't already know. I'm sorry but I believe this will just cause more issues. Yes it would be fun to play only with friend, however, that also takes away from people that love the mystery of not knowing who people are. People could also abuse this and get all the achievements by letting each other win. I'm pretty sure this was once added but removed for a reason I'm not sure of.

Sorry, I will be voting 'do not implement' for said reasons.
