So, I know I'm not the only one who feels this way, but personally I find all of the threads about past staff members and the huge threads where they say that they appreciate all the staff members kind of annoying at this point. I know by this point, 80% of people will have already given the thread a negative rating, because they can't help but disagree with something that isn't positive. Anyways, at first I didn't have a problem with it.

I'm not against appreciating staff for all that they've done, and I thought the first thread was pretty cool.
But then they started to pop up, because they noticed that it gained a lot of attention. At that point, they were created every other day, but the reasons were just to make something quick up. Such as "Oh you seem nice even though I've literally never spoken to you once!" It's always the same people, too. It's nice, but it gets tiring when it floods the forums. Just post it on their profiles at that point, since you've already said it three times in the past week. Even now, the most recent threads in general were all about staff and they've all been said before.

And then the threads stating previous staff members. There should really be a pinned thread/mega thread for this because they come up just as often, if not more often than staff appreciation threads. First of all, a lot of the people are wrong about the reasons as to why they aren't staff anymore, their previous ranks, etc. How is this obvious? Since there's always an older member going in there to correct them. Not to mention, they're always incomplete. If it's such a popular topic, why isn't there just a pinned thread that states all the previous staff members.

Maybe my suggestion isn't clear here, but there should be one or two sticky threads that take care of the staff topics that I mentioned. They're flooding the forums, and they come up way too often. No, I'm not saying stop appreciating and acknowledging staff members. What I am saying is that there should be something to prevent the very obvious point/post farming that's happening because of it.

So true, and with the 2nd one about previous staff, they still deserve to be mentioned because they put time and effort into their job, even if they broke a rule you could still right them down just for respect and recognized...

;-; At least my thread was a personal note to each staff member ;-;

I did it for the first and only time ;-;

;-; I didn't do it for the post. I have plenty already lol.
(most of that was just for me pointing out why I did it. Not really mad or anything)

All in all, +1 I see what you mean. Also:

but some things may have more than one topic

You do realise your breaking forums rules by double posting? You should be careful because you could end up getting banned of forums for a period of time.

I know, I'm not saying that at all. I was just stating that a lot of them are incorrect. Me and a couple friends kind of laugh at some of them, because people just assume that unless they say they were demoted, it's 100% certain that they retired. Either way, I think it's rude to try and put out that information when people don't even know if it's correct.

If anything, the reasons and how they went shouldn't even be said. Recognizing them for being staff in general, in one large thread is something that should be done, rather than making these hardly complete lists. It seems that those only list the staff members that people actually talked to, or rather, the social side of previous staff. They do deserve to be recognized, but only if it's official and correct. Otherwise it's just disrespectful in a sense. Whether the rumors of them being demoted go around, when they left on their own terms, or if they aren't even recognized at all.

An example of the thread I'm talking about from a site I browse. It recognizes the retired and VIP members of the site. (That will go unnamed):

I was agreeing with you xD

Also that link and what is shown sounds really good <3
Yeah, I was just clarifying that for others as well. I know I may not have come off exactly in the way that I intended, but I guess I just used your post to branch off a bit.
