The Floor Is Lava!

Now first of all, I know this game has been suggested, but my idea is slightly different to the other thread. If this is in someway very similar to the other thread just let me know and I'll give them credit. Credit goes to the maker of this trendy challenge! :)

How to play:
If you don't know this trendy new 'challenge', then all you do is find something (eg: a bin) and sit/stand on it without touching the floor. You get 5 seconds otherwise the floor 'turns to lava'. Now on minecraft, you can obviously jump onto blocks and items, but I was thinking of adding a little twist. Instead of just placing random blocks onto the ground and giving you 5 seconds to stand on one, to not get 'burnt by the lava', you'd have to parkour your way up to the certain block that has been said by the 'host' of the game. This is kind of like the game 'Block Party', except instead of it being a flat surface, it will be parkour just to switch things up. Everyone starts off on a flat surface -screenshots are below- and will be allowed to run about in an open area, then in around 5-10 seconds, a title will appear on their screen saying "The Floor Is Lava!" Once that message pops up on the screen, every players gets 10 seconds to run to the block that has been chosen. Each level, the parkour will get harder. There will be 7 levels all together because there will be 8 players. How is there a winner? Well, I'm sure there are a lot of players who are good at parkour and may complete all levels without failing, so to make it fair, the slowest person to complete the parkour (or the first person to fall in the lava) will be out. How will you know which block to stand on? At the top of the screen, whilst the big message has popped up, it will say an item and show the item (eg: hopper/bin). What happens if 2 people fall in the lava? Well, if this happens, then both players will be out, as it's fair that way. This game could last round 2-3 minutes.

Map/Objects:
I was thinking about designs for the actual map where it could take place. The area where they move around would be pretty open and could have a volcano-like design. At the bottom, there is a rough design of what I was thinking, however, it is just a rough version, so it can be altered. Depending on the amount of players there are in the game (I was thinking 8 players), there would be 1 less level, and each level gets harder. Not only that, but each round, an item will disappear. So it's also a bit like 'Musical Chairs' aswell as parkour. For the objects, I was thinking of giving some different names instead of using the minecraft names. There could be a range of objects, and they could still be repeated in the game. Here are some objects I was thinking of:

Objects:
Hopper: Bin
Bed: Bed

Cauldron: Bucket
Quartz stair: Seat
Flower pot: Cup
Minecart: Car
Ice block: Ice cube
Singular birch fence: Fence

These are just some ideas, if you don't like any of these or would like to add some, just tell me!

Particles/Hats:
Just to make things more fun, depending on the amount of games you have won, you can purchase particles and/or hats. These hats can be like the hats you get in murder, and for the particles, there could be 5 different ones available; a redstone particle (3 games won), a raindrop particle (6 games won), a slime particle (9 games won), an enderpearl particle (12 games won) and a lava particle (15 games won). This doesn't have to be implemented, but I thought this would be quite cool, but I'm still thinking about this part as there isn't a lot of point.

If you have any questions, or extra ideas, please feel free to ask/tell me as I'm sure there are more ideas for designs or items etc for this game. Thanks for taking your time to read this. :)

Credit goes to Mrfun10 for suggesting it first (from what I've seen)

I do not think there's a need for the particles and hats as you claimed it's a party game. None of the existing party games (Ditto & Freeze tag) have it so this game shouldn't also. There has been another game suggestion which is based on The Floor is Lava challenge (click here) yet I do believe that a party game version of it would be better.

As for the game itself,it has a few problems and if I may give my opinion, here's what I think should happen:

In each map there's going to be a volcano and a random setting of course. I'm going to make up 2 maps just for this example.

First Map: Town
AZrRldV.png
Now, the town would be a basic town with a park, houses, trees, benches etc. A message will pop up saying: The floor is LAVA! Take shelter!
And then players have 10 seconds to find shelter. How may you ask? Well, the lava is going to rise slowly each round it will rise higher and higher. In order to survive, players need to climb trees, jump on houses (basic parkour) to reach higher grounds. Then after every round, the count down will get faster and faster, UNTIL there's one winner.

Second map: Island
MRa5SRx.png
Same with the town, players must get to higher level in order to survive by jumping on palm trees, boats etc.

I do apologize for the lack of detail in those two pictures. I just didn't have enough time to build it.

About the hats and particles, I was thinking that it would be pointless, so I do agree. And about your opinion, it actually kind of reminds me of an old game on my phone which I really enjoyed. I really like your opinion!

No, because this challenge is just a faze therefore is quickly going to die out and if this mini game was to be made, it would quickly become unpopular.

Of course games will die out eventually, like Ditto for example. It was very popular when it was new, but now we have Freezetag, that has slowly taken interest out of Ditto, and even now Freezetag isn't as popular as it was when it was first released. When another minigame comes out, I'm sure that will gain a lot of interest, but like any other minigames, it will eventually die out, or lose interest for some players.

Still, all games die out. And even when the challenge dies, I'll definitely still play it. Plus you need to add more evidence this would "quickly become unpopular" besides that 1 reason. Seen as its not a huge reason.

It depends on the game and if the game brings in players then you need more games. Or you could try and keep that one game alive. For example when murder was released it brought in a ton of players yet nothing was made to update it and no new wonderful game was made. This made PZ lose players yet also another was PZ had a lot of young adults and when they left for college they left PZ too or some went to another game more enjoyable. Not all games die unless they aren't taken care of or the server is going down. The general population of mcpz was 14 to 16 at that time. But now I think it's 12 ish.

actually, forget what I said before, this actually seems like a pretty good idea. Although the trend itself will die out, if this game was implemented, it would be pretty fun.

This already were suggested but i think the few changes made it a few more original,i really like the idea! c:

but i think the few changes made it a few more original
I personally disagree with your opinion. The changes made actually make it very unique, especially the parkour idea. I don't see how much more original it makes the game, because the original game is going on bins, cars, and shopping carts in order not to touch the floor when someone says "The Floor is Lava".

In my opinion, I think this would be a very fun game to play and I love the extra, couple of changes you made to make it more fun.
I'm sure almost everyone would like to play the Floor is Lava on Minecraft and I'd agree with them too!
