1: Fake Emeralds (Murderer Ability)
If the murderer collects 2 emeralds, he can get a fake emerald. They can drop it wherever they like and when someone tries to get it, they don't get anything and instead get a blindness buff for 2 seconds.

2: Mirage (Detective Ability)
If the detective gets 5 emeralds, he can make a dead body come to life. They can move it towards the murderer and when the murderer attempts to kill it (which won't happen) the detective can shoot them. This does NOT make any spectators come back to life.

3: Rapid Fire Gun (Gun v4.0 Ability)
When you get a gun v4.0, you should be able to rapid fire for how many spare emeralds you have. If you have the gun, you can hold down and if you have, say, 2 extra emeralds, you can fire two shots consecutively. If you have a spare 4 emeralds, you can shoot 4 times in one shot for about 4 milliseconds.

Hope you agree with some of these! (I wish polls were still a thing)

2: Speed buff for people with a gun
Just as it says, I think that people with a gun should at least get a speed buff, without the ability to sprint.

3: Compass
A bystander can get a compass at the beginning of the game, as a 'tracker'. The compass points to the murderer.

Hope you agree with some of these! (I wish polls were still a thing)
1 - The only one I like actually.
This is a really good idea.

2 - Too op.
The game is balanced so the murderer can actually win, because it's 2-14 vs 1
And all of those players can get a gun, a ranged weapon, where the murderers weapon is melee, unless they decide to throw it, in which case they lose it for 30 seconds, or until they pick it up.
The game is balanced as it is.
Don't fix what ain't broke.

3 - Way too overpowered.
This literally gives away the identity of the murderer, something the game is designed specifically not to do.
Stop trying to buff bystander, it doesn't need it, at all.

1's good, 3 should be Gun V.5. and 200 seconds must have passed.
It should be V.5. because usually the game would have gone on for some time by the time you get a V.5. To make sure, 200 seconds must have passed.

I love this idea!

I've obtained 9 knives in one game, but i rarely get more than a v.2 so other people can get guns, rather than farming for myself.
But i have witnessed a v.10 in action - @Shinaraa

It's scary.

New feedback!
1 - okay I like it, but after a little more thinking, why.
If you were to drop it in front of someone, well the mur is the only one to drop emeralds, so that won't work.
If you were to drop it and wait for someone to pick it up, well you're waiting way too long.
If you were to drop it randomly and keep moving, well why. You gain nothing from this.
I see no strategical advantage to this.
However, there may be another option.
When you collect 3 emeralds, you can make an "Anti-Emerald" and using the principles of matter/antimatter, (without the incredibly destructive force), whenever someone picks it up, they lose an emerald.

2 - How would he control it?

3 - I actually like this, but this would mean four is the max, and if you accidentally pick up another emerald you just lost a major advantage.
Besides that, firing them all at once has no useful purpose.
When you're fighting infantry, you don't want to put all your bullets in one spot, unless it's the right spot, but if it's the right spot, you only need one.
Space them out a little slower firing.

1. Worthless since it's better to get knives. Knives are the whole thing about murderer. More knives mean more chances as I would say.
2. Not a big fan since this changes how the game is played and makes murderers job even harder.
3. Honestly in a game you could get to v5 max or v3 min if the game is regular like basic people nor knife throwing pros or no random shooting people. Yet withe a pro murderer you would most likely die soon unless the other team has a good player meaning they collect emeralds and get v5 or higher which happens to me sometimes.

Anyways this idea just ends at v4 and jumps to vx (I don't know the exact way rapid fire works, like a Lazer?). This defeats the purpose of getting emeralds. I say no because of one reason and I believe a cap at v3 should be implemented because of this reason too. The murderer leaves and a new person becomes the murder which means everyone has a v4 and rapid fire. Then the murderer has basically no chance no matter how you look at it. Only a very lucky and good person at murder could pull this off.
...

Just saying you can get 3 emeralds in 10 seconds and you get a v2 if your the person with the secret weapon. Expecially if your on a emerald map that spawns way too many emeralds. Keep getting emeralds and the 50% double emerald works everytime you could very easily get to around v15 but will take around the whole game.

The main idea for murder is to be close to the original GMod murder (Which PZ's murder is based off of) and is the reason why suggestions that add new Ability's for the Murderer and Bystanders were denied.

1) Really good idea

2) 5 emeralds is too little, I say 10 or so

3) This might make killing too easy, therefore making the game shorter and less fun
