Survival Plots
Just an idea that I'd like added to the server.

So, I've wanted to be able to put my plot into survival mode. For roleplaying reasons, mainly, but for other small reasons it gives too.
The owner of the plot would be able to maintain creative, or they could choose to be in survival, and they can also give creative to other people on their plot. (For their friends)

Another thing that Survival Plots would bring would be a decrease in griefing on that plot. It's harder for people in survival to grief than people in creative to grief.

Bringing the option to change your plot into a Survival Mode would bring a wider variety of things to Creative, and it would lower the chances of griefing.

This is just a quick summary of the idea I had, I hope you like it!

This has been suggested multiple times and I'm kinda iffy on this one.

For roleplaying I totally understand it. Having someone fly around all the time kinda ruins role plays.
But for the less griefing I do understand that but Only added people could still break the blocks and people could just get a god pickaxe/axe.

Staying neutral because of Pros and Cons that could be worked on.

Pros - More options to be creative, and preventing people from using your builds in a way you didn't intend.
Allowing for survival maps and arenas for more fun, possibly drawing more and new types of people.
The ability to create our own hunger games since the staff won't bring it back.

Cons - A little bit of coding.

Creative is a word, not a gamemode, this allows you more ways to be creative.

But ya it's been suggested before, I'm still all for it.

Lets say someone put their plot into survival out in the middle of nowhere when your just flying around looking for interesting plots and you can only get outta the plot if you fly due to no jump able areas for you to get out of, you would then have to proceed to one of your plots, tpa to someone, or go back to spawn and try to find the area again.

Another Con I can see is that it might cause hate to people who like to stay in creative and also want to get something out of the creative inventory but the plot owner does not trust them. So they would then have to walk out of the plot, go into /gm c. Get the item they wanted, and then go back to where they were.

The main reason I don't really like this is because it can be used for some major trolling.

Then whats the point of going into Survival if you can still fly?
But I think a way out of this is by actually having the option to report plots that have you trapped.

But still. the main idea of creative IS gamemode c. And I believe that's the reason it was rejected in the first place.

I agree with Aiden, I think it should be implemented, but the owner CANNOT force the plot into survival. Like Aiden said above, the player or roleplay owner should have a sign saying " Do /gm survival. No Cheating " or etc, etc, etc. Truly, this idea has a great future and could work.
