Somewhere Over The Rainbow
Again I'm a terrible writer just try and enjoy the story xD

I hear screaming from every direction, and I'm at a loss for what to do. I quickly rush to the first child I see on the floor. Before I get to her I know who she is. It's Stacy Londur, one of the sweetest girls I know. She was only 13. I look up and see his older brother, Scott, face pale. I look down again, and I realize there is no saving her now. I quickly tell everyone to get off the bus out the front window (everyone that is conscious and able to walk). I'm so relieved, though, to see at least 11 children get off the bus. One child introduced herself as Hazel Sunnou, and she said she was 11 years old. Wait, did I hear that right? Wow she's young. Nevertheless she offered to help out which I really needed right now. We sadly couldn't find any children that's hearts seemed to be beating (and we tried our best). But I heard a cough from somewhere. In the back I see a young kid who looks to be in middle school, maybe 14 years old, and he's awake. I rush over to him and there's blood, all down his shirt. He coughed up blood right in my face, I was going to be sick but I had to help him.
"Kid what's your name", I screamed.
"My n-name is...is Max"
"Well Max I'm here to help okay? We are going to carry you inside and get you some medical equipment."
No response.
"Okay Kid!?!"
He nodded.
I told Hazel to join the others inside while I carried Max to the medical part of the store. I laid him down on the bed and got to work. In the corner of my eye I see most of the kids and they for sure made no effort to keep lookout for anymore zombies. Now I didn't want to seem like the mean guy here, but I yelled at the top of my lungs for them to watch the entrance of the store for 'visitors'.

It took about an hour but Max was breathing fine and was asleep, his chest moving. I put him on a rolling bed and brought him out to the main area so I could keep an eye on him. Now to see how all the kids were doing. They weren't doing any better, lots of crying and comforting, but I cant blame them, that must've been traumatic. I felt especially bad for Scott, who, had to watch his sister die right in front of her. There were just groups of kids sitting everywhere, and crying and comforting, I felt terrible. I walked up to them to speak.
"Now uh guys, I know how tough that ride was, and I am so sorry for the harm I have caused. But you guys have to be happy you survived. Its gonna be tough out there, zombies on the loose. And it might be good if we stay here for now, just a little bit."
That caused a lot of commotion and more crying.
"When will I get to see my mommy?!" one kid screamed.
"Guys listen, If we only stay maybe for tonight, we will turn on one of the televisions in the media department and check the news for details. Besides, most of you have phones you can check right now right?"
And to our luck, it looks like all of their phone weren't working.
"Ok everyone, we will go home as soon as possible, I promise, but we need to check the news first before we head out! Who knows what's out there!"
Many agreed with me, and the others who didn't really realized they had no choice.

Before I knew it it was night time. Everyone took a blanket and pillow from the home area of the store and just slept on the ground, under my feet, under my protection. I watched the door the whole night, not getting any sleep, but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Their lives were in my hands.

Sorry this chapter was pretty short and bad. It was rushed because I had a busy week, anyways thanks for reading :D
