New Gametype Crafting game

This game would take place in a survival land where you had to craft certain stuff to win. Pvp would be disabled so there was no fighting. You would have to get different items each time. For example one time you would need an emerald, iron pickaxe and boat then the next wheat, milk and a diamond. The ideas of what you need would be completely random. The world would have a border so no one could run to far. You would need to get the stuff back to spawn for it to count as complete. Another thing we might want to do is protect furnaces so other people can't take your stuff, but it could also be a fair play thing if that is what people wanted.

Things you would spawn with: It would most likely give you things such as stone tools and leather armor, or maybe wooden stuff and maybe chain armor.

Players: Depending on the size of the map we would need a certain amount of players. Maybe we should have this as a 4 to 8 player game therefore there would be a limit, but it would be to small.

Staffing: As this is a game where things such as X-ray and other hacks could be used it might be helpful if there was someone watching every once and so often. I see where the hackers could be a problem though as there are not enough staff to always be watching. Also players wouldn't really be able to know because they would try to be far away from each other.

Ways it could go wrong: If the items are to hard to find people might end up quitting or might not want to play, but you don't want it to be to short either, therefore you should try to not make them hard items to get. It could go wrong as well if it becomes filled with hackers, but hopefully if there are a lot of hackers we could get a staff in there as there could be a time when that happens.

Ways it could go right: If everyone followed the rules this would be a great game. It would most likely be able to have leader boards like down grade and murder. It could maybe even bring new players into party zone.


Q and A:

What would be the time limit:
There wouldn't be a time limit unless admins wanted to add that, if there was on for say I would have a 10 to 20 minutes.

What is the objective and what is the amount of items: I would say 3 items max and the point of the game is to be the first person to get those items win.

Would there be any shops: I wouldn't put in the shop for the fact that what would be the thing you spent there. I feel shops wouldn't workout well

Armor or hats: As this would be a solo game, every man for them self you wouldn't really need armor, but if you spawned with armor I feel maybe we would colour it, even though it is kind of pointless.

You didn't answer any major questions, like; "what would the time limit be," "what is the objective," and "how many items you would need to gather?". I don't think this would be the greatest game idea, as it seems very slow paced in contrast to the faster, more competitive games on PartyZone. The title reminds me of another popular server's minigame, which follows roughly the same mechanics. I can also see players hacking very much on this game type to farm stats/coins, and staff can't be on 24/7 watching over them. Personally, I'm not going to vote, as I do believe it is a very good game idea, but it also has a bit of issues I can see. Keeping it balanced for now. +0
 
Would there be any shops? like maybe if it was leather armour what you spawned with coloured armour? hats? staying neutral for now 0+
 
It remembers me a map by Lorgon111 named "minecraft BINGO".
On this map you have a chart who show you items and you have to get 5 items on a line, column or diagonal to win.
At the start of each new game, the "bingo card" is filled with new items which make a unique "bingo card" every game.
You have to collect these items on a map "tiny biome".
Everyone can win with a different combinations, which is, for me, more fun than only 3 items to find for everyone.

Actually, something like that would be a great idea- and a bit more freedom to the player to make up their own strategy.

And I believe you said that players would be far away from each other, but I'm imagining a "The Walls-type" map- except nobody there is on your "team". Furnaces would be protected, and there would be no need to use PVP so PVP would be off obviously. The map would include a cave, trees, some houses- make it look pretty n all that!! And have multiple maps- again I'm imagining The Walls for something like this. The game would last 20ish minutes and would be half race and half strategy because of the bingo card, and everyone would have the same card so that the game is fair.

I think that would be a really good idea in my opinion. I'd just imagine it'd only be nice with pretty maps to explore, approximately the size of a Walls map (as in, your quartile sized), making the area really small but abundant with random resources. Hunger wouldn't deplete as to make it so you don't need to waste time making food, and you could get upgrades where you start off with an axe/a workbench/or armor for decorations and personalization, since mobs would be off I'd imagine. It would just last unnecessarily long with survival aspects included. Likewise, it'd stay daytime- unless there was a nighttime map!! This just made me really excited, I feel as if that would be popular.

Ah, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe they'd appear in caves, not burn in daylight (zombies), spawn in daylight, or these items can appear in random chests in the around.

I think that they would have to spawn in cave and outside will be a permanent day.
 
I feel it should be having the night time and day time making it so if there is a mob drop you need you can still get it. I feel the game mode would best be on easy and having day and night would probably mean you would get some kind of armor.

that would mean the game would be pretty long, so less of a partygame and more of a gamemode, if thats what you're going for. I imagined a party game, when you explained it.

But alas, I don't think I ever +1'd this, just gave my own critiques on it!! I think its a cool idea and I like it!!
