Rejected Deleting posts on threads

Whether this has been suggested or not, it is really annoying to have off topic posts on your thread. Or just a post you'd like to delete that has no meaning to the thread.

For any reason, thread-owners should be able to delete the posts on their thread only if the post is off-topic and has no life or meaning to it.

WHY THIS IS HELPFUL:
* Prevents any posts that are off-topic.
* Deleting posts will increase players' chances to use more explaination in why they dislike or disagree with an idea or a suggestion. (I.E: -1 because -1, you'd want to know why -1, correct?)
* If you want to delete posts that do not enforce the rules, that'll be completly beneficial to staff so they don't have to come and actually delete it for you.

WRONGS WITH THE IDEA:
* Deletion can be overly abused.
* If the post has an explaination to it, then deleted, then the forumers will realize that the player who created the idea/suggestion just wants positive posts.
* Can delete all comments from the thread. One by one.

POSSIBLE WARNINGS:
* You can be warned for deleting all negative, or just comments on your thread.
* This will probably be overly abused by players, which again you can probably be warned.

I personally don't agree with this idea because of the fact that it could be abused by players. If a user were asking for opinions but deleted every opinion whether benefitial or not to their idea, it would be considered a troll post. Troll posts like these could pop up more often if this were implemented. I also don't think the staff team need anymore reason to punish players. -1 from me.

If a post is off topic to the original thread topic, staff delete them. While this would be easier, it could easily be abused to remove posts that disagree with the original creator's thread and cause issues. It's much more accurate to just report posts which go off topic from the original point and just allow the staff to take care of it

Im thinking this idea would allow staff to see deleted posts, as well as who deleted them. Also the owner of the thread can un-delete posts.
