So I'm not sure if this is possible but this is my suggestion:

I bring appon you all.../count

What does this do?
/count is a world edit command and this is how it will work, select 2 co-ordinates (Must be in a straight line) and then do //count and this will tell you how much blocks are in these 2 co-ordinates because how much times have you needed to know how long your plot is? Well this command helps with that

What can this command be useful for?
Well it's hard to think off the top of my head what this can be used for but ideally counting the size of plots or buildings and yes you can just count 1 by 1 but come on! If you had the chance to either count 1 by 1 or use //count, which one would you use? Exactly!

Note: This is a world edit command only availible to ELITE+

i think this would be a great idea if it didn't already exist haha. The use of the //count <block> command will tell you how many blocks of that kind are in a specific area. It doesn't necessarily have to be in a straight line either. Also, your plots are always 75x75 for future reference

edit: i do see how this could be a good idea. i think you should rephrase your paragraph a bit. it sounds like you're asking the staff team to create a whole new command instead of just adding the command into the E+ permissions.

The world edit wand has this built in already. When two positions are selected, you can get the amount of blocks that could be effected. In a straight line, this can count as a measurement device. -1

This is correct, if you select two positions and set a block, it will tell you how many blocks were placed. You are able to do the same in a straight line if you wish. This is basically already implemented so -1.

Not like that, you just select the area you want to select, and at the end, you should see a number in parentheses,
Example- Second Position set to (something, -something, something) (the number of blocks selected)

How to use //count, without using //count

1) Get w/e axe (//wand)
2) Select position one of what you want to count
3) Go to the next area of measurement. Make sure it's a straight line for an accurate reading!
4) Important: On the same Y axis as the last, and on the straight line place down position 2...
5) Read the output. It should say Position 2 [coords] blah, blah, that doesn't matter. But at the end of the output, you will see a number in parenthesis like: (25.) The number in the parenthesis is the value for the measurement if you did it right. There is your non-existent "//count"
