Rejected Profile Page Alerts

Technically two people already agree on this idea
Though I feel like this should be brought out to the entire community.

Whenever someone posts on their page, the people who follow them or who they follow will get an alert that, that person had posted something on their profile page.

Feel free to leave opinions and tweeks for this idea

2: It could get annoying at times whenever someone update's their status but tbh, who updates their status that much anyway?
3: This would be cool if someone you follow updated their status and then you could comment/like it

For your second point, I totally understand. I hate getting notifications on posts I don't care about, but hey, why not?

maybe, it could be like you could press a button to get notifications for that specific person every time they update their status, so only the people you choose to have a notification on, i don't know how this would work, i would love the idea though

-1 This is cool yet I could just imagine getting spammed non stop with alerts ;-;. Some have followed a lot of people.

Could be very useful, but how about when you follow someone it goes "Do you want to receive notifications from this person?" and then a yes or no option (like the watch thread option).

But, maybe only just status updates and not replies to comments on their profile (unless ofc it's replying to you).

You already are able to see recent activity for all the members you follow here.

Adding this would require an external addon for the forum software which doesn't exist, so unfortunately that's the best we can get!
