I think we should be able to message in the Murder Lobby, even though we have a minimum amount of time to be in the lobby before the game starts.

- I know there is a command such as /whereami, but I still think it'd be easier to stay in the game to message a staff member about hacking or a player not enforcing the rules.

- For my second reason, you should be able to message in Murder because if you want to communicate with friends OUTSIDE of Murder, then you can. There can be a system to prevent talking with people your playing, rather than talking with people outside of murder.

- This doesn't have to do with the Messaging in Murder suggestion, but I just wanted to add that there should be at least a message saying to people who try to message someone murder, something like "We're sorry, but this player is not partying around now. Reason: _____ (Playing Murder, Is muted, etc.)

If wanted, you can probably only message staff members for the hacking and reporting thing, like @Corcustos said. Other than that though, I still believe communicating with people outside of Murder should be okay.

This topic has been brought up before bleh. Also there is no need for a ghosting filter do to you are not in the actual game. And it's not really needed because of the games starting earlier now. -1

For number 2 you could just do /whereami and then leave the game and go to the lobby to message a staff :p

I didn't understand that part?
I'm trying to say like banning words or phrases like: "The murderer is _______" or "I'm the murderer" or things like that.
And even if they're not in the game, it can possibly still be like someone who's hacking or not enforcing the rules during the game.

There's a command like that? Either it's a new thing or you've been here for a long time :p

Being able to send messages in game should never happen. Ghosting filters will never prevent ghosting. Simply type code such as typing a name to a person or a letter lol. Sorry but that just should never happen. Being able to type in the murder lobby I get but in game no way.

No I mean't in the lobby :p

I like the idea of someone messaging you and then they get a message back about why you may not be able to respond. Otherwise I don't believe we should be able to message in murder because of ghosting

Its been here for ageeesssssss I not long ago found out myself I think it was early January when I found out.

I'm totally not the one who already ask for that 2 mounth ago.
Not at all.
XD yea yet due to the reduction of time in murder lobby it's really not needed at all. Also simply leaving a game isnt that much to do xD

I don't know what I think. +0

I feel like it would be best if we could only message staff members, that way we don't have to go through the coding and waiting time for he ghosting filter. Just my opinion but great idea! Keep up the creative thinking!

Try to add some more detail to your post. Offer ways to prevent exploitation and abuse. This has been posted before, and they made the same mistake you did. I can't stress the importance of including organization and formatting in suggestion posts. They go a long way and can be the different between if your idea will be implemented or not. An idea isn't going to be added if the post is difficult to read or understand. As for the suggestion itself, I agree with allowing messaging in Murder, but only in the Lobby. However, if there was a way to only allow messaging to people with the Helper, Moderator, Senior Mod, and Admin groups, then that would be even better. Other than that, while I support this idea, I'm remaining neutral until the post is better explained. +0

In my personal opinion, I do not think this should be added.

Firstly because what use has it, your first reason for the suggestion is creative but you could simply just say to your friends " Hey, I'm going to play murder now "

Secondly, this has been mentioned before, you could just get out your current game and then call a staff member.

Thirdly, this links very well to the first one with the same reason. Although the PZ community is preventing ghosting, people could still ghost on TeamSpeak etc. There would be no use for this.

Overall, I apologize but -1

-1 again just simply leave the game and message. I don't get why it's so complex. It is pointless to add in really most situations.

I find it very irritating if I can't reply to someone because I'm in Murder or if I need to message a member of staff if someone is breaking the rules -this would fix this problem.
