Apparently here.
Okay, so another kinda tiny idea that may be not so popular

I have some friends that I like playing with that don't use teamspeak, or anything related.

So I rely on those messages the friends system. But sometimes they can easily be missed.

OR maybe just an audible cue whenever ANY friend get some online, kind of like how your name is mentioned in chat maybe?

I know it's a small feature that maybe not many people will use. It's just something I'd love to see XD

Edit: Maybe it could be something that can be toggled with it being off on default, and allowing players to toggle it on?

Maybe a system can be added where people can have a few favorite friends that gives an audible cue, kind of like how your name is mentioned in chat

I would also like to see setting certain people that can message you, example: You want to have a conversation with one person, without having anyone else message you. But if you are a staff you will have people constantly messaging you while you're messaging this one person. So using /r becomes annoying and typing /msg <player> every time would be unnecessary. So adding this to the idea would be cool.

While this sounds like a useful idea I suspect it will cause many arguments.
If someone finds out they're not someone's 'favourite friend' they might get annoyed and fall out with the person.

Then maybe just audible cues for when friends in general log on?

I don't think there should be some sort of noise - maybe making the text stand our more so it's noticeable even when playing games.
Adding new sounds will probably confuse quite a lot of people. Sound cues are usually used to catch someone's attention when necessary, e.g. Someone directly saying your name, mini-game timer counting down etc. Having sounds to indicate your friends logging in might get rather annoying too - especially if you're one of those people who have a full friends list - because sometimes there may be a chance where a wide variety of players are kicked from the Network due to connection issues etc. And hearing all of those "dings" (or something of the sort) would irritate quite a lot of people.

You know, now that you mention it, yea, that makes a lot of sense. Maybe have it be something that can be toggled?
