he offered me a bag to put my stuff in, he said to take it for my kindness in getting his flowers; I put the shovel in the bag and slung it over my shoulder. It took a while to get there, sneaking around bandit camps and wandering salesmen. But I eventually got there. I approached the gate, unaware of the two guards. One slung his sword in front of my chest...
"Sir" he said. I looked at him. "Turn back"
"Why is that, officer?" I said softly back.
The other guard interrupted the guard before he spoke.
"Its Kiler" He said. "Let him through"
I looked as confused as a banana being given to a monkey.
"Ah - My mistake, Kiler. You have not been here for years... Lilly was deeply upset"
NOW I was confused.
"I'll open the gate."
The guard opened the gate and the guard that sat eating lunch on the wall stood and saluted.
Okay, NOW I was confused.
I reached the middle of the city, ignoring what the guards said. The Alchemist's tower stuck out like a sore thumb.
I felt my clothes at the back lift up and my skin was shown to the blazing sun. Someone was dragging me.
"K-Kile?" they said. It was a girl. I didn't DARE turn around, was it the girl they talked of called Lilly?
I didn't turn around. I remained stiff like a pillar cememnted into the ground,
"Lilly" I said, trying to fit in and pretned. "Is it?"
"Kile? You remember me? but.. I don't understand... You hit your head, and--"
I turned around,
She seemed shy although it sounded like she already knew me.
"You remember me?" She said back.
My eyes glimmered. I pushed the idea of the alchemist away.
"I do"
