After the gang Shade drive off to there base,Kona seemed a bit....shaken,
"So uh..Guys..Any ideas on how he did die..?" Kona asked shakily.No one answered her.Huntress was to busy driving to be bothered to talk,Pitsa was looking at the coded letter and book was lost in her thoughts,But book did speak.
"I'm not sure,But I did see some one in a red trench coat.I shouted to them and they ran down a alley way." Book answered while looking out the window,there car wasn't such a stand out so driving past people they didn't get bothered.
~They Arrive~
As they all finally arrive from the car in their forest base,they are in the forest since it's hard for anyone to track them down then. there base was a fairly future-ish base,with white quartz pillars and white walls they were well protected,with a armoury of guns and Melee weapons, and safety bunker in the basement.The ground and first level was a lab area for different things such as DNA and research.while the third and fourth (with tinted black windows) were there home. it was about a 10-20 minuets to the entrance of Wintana from here.As Book,Pitsa and Kona get out of the car.Huntress drives her Black with a turquoise stripe through the middle of the paint into their garage where Pitsa's and Book's Motorcycles are. Kona doesn't have a vehicle since she is a fast runner and can get to Wintana by just running in 15 Minuets,(Book says it because she is part cat when Kona says its just skill.)
As Huntress walks out of the Garage Pitsa is busy working at his usual spot the Hologram computer where it can un-code any message he puts on the little scanner to it right.
"What you got there Pitsa." Huntress asked in her usual plain tone.This made Pitsa jump a little but turn around on his chair
"Just a coded message saying "Mist Mystery" Which is odd." Pitsa Replied turning back to his work and putting up the image of the message coded and un coded
"So we can call the killer Misty Myst!?" Book shouted from over at her station packing away her disguise kit. "Pleaseee~"
"NO!!" Pitsa and Huntress both shouted back "That's just stupid." Huntress also added on.Then the three just thought in silence until Kona finally came downstairs from putting her bag up in her room.
"What about Mysteri its like a word play with them."
Everyone then just looked at Kona while she stood on the stairs,then Book,Pitsa and Huntress Nodded there heads in agreement.
"Good Idea.I like it" Pitsa smiled. as he started up a file on Mysteri.
After the brief conversation Book walked to her room, as Kona approached Huntress who is looking at her evidence.
"They don't make sense..." Huntress mutters harshly under her breathe,as she scrambles over different items she has picked up she looks at the bottle and the green substance which came back as Food Colouring but the bottle just had water no trace of anything else.
"Are you OK Hunt?" Kona asked seeming a bit worried since this case seems to be going downhill.fast.(Also Huntress' in this hates being called hunt/hunty)
"No..They don't connect,Food colouring in the sink. and yet the bottle has nothing but water in it." Huntress replies slamming her files shut as she starts to walk out and to the garage.Kona quickly followed behind her
"Wait Huntress where are you going?" Kona asked as Huntress got into her car with the turqiouse strip over black.
"What does it look like. I'm going for a drive to think." Huntress rolled her eyes to herself noticing Kona getting in the front passenger seat "I didn't invite you.what do you need a place to go?"
"N-No! I just want to go somewhere it's boring in the base I already put everything into the file..and I thought it be nice for just a drive because Company is best to lower stree levels y'know" Kona replied firmly as if she was being question, as Huntress pulled out the garage door
and drove down the dirt track through the forest.the silence fell over them as they entered the Wintana's city, when a hologram came up. with Slayer.
"Slayer!" Kona shouted happy to see her Husband (yes.they're married)
"H-Hey Kona babe." Slayer said.He seemed different to Huntress but she didn't point it out.
"I need you and Huntress to meet me at
134 Wintana Alley way,Its for a surprise I planned" he carried on acting like he was fine when you can tell he wasn' t
"Ohh~ Go On Huntress!" Kona pleaded with her puppy eyes she used a lot.
Huntress just drove on, after a run around the town she stopped the car in the alley.
"Coming Huntress?" Kona asked as she stands at the entrance of the alley way,while Huntress leans on her car.
"I dont trust it." Huntress sternly replies which made Kona frown "Why not! Do you Hate Slayer!?"
Kona walked off as Huntress got worried and decided to follow her
"Kona wait." Huntress ran up to her frowning "I don't hate him he just didn't seem himself."
As they walked further down the alley it suddenly stopped and written in a chalk red said the words
"Mist is behind you"
"What?" Huntress turned around only to see a masked figure behind them Holding a rusty metal pipe in there hands they striked down on Kona who just turned around and saw her fate.
Huntress sprinted down another alley way that was connected to this one as the masked figure followed.
Will she get caught?
