"WHAT DO WE DO WE ARE GONNA DIE!" I shouted, panic and adrenaline rushing through me. My brain couldn't work, nobodies could, but Moon's. She always kept a cool head, I envied her. "DON'T THINK ABOUT THE GUNS JUST STICK TOGETHER AND RUN!" She screamed. It was hard to hear each other over the sound of gunshots. We ran in a strait line, wildly hoping that we wouldn't get shot. A bullet soared right past me and Astro's heads and we yelped in surprise and almost stopped running. But we kept going until my heart felt like it would explode from fatigue. By now we were deep in the forest. We had lost the guards. For now.
I heard the panic alarm in the distance behind us, signalling the end of the Resiquition. "That can't be right can it?" Astro asked hesitantly. "Yeah your right the Resiquition is never that short!" Meepy said. I considered it. "This can't be good..." I muttered. "They must have ended it early... to look for us! Oh no!" Moon screamed. Alarm bells rang off in my head. "There must be over fifty guards after us then!" Meepy shouted, panicking. "What are we going to do?!" Astro aksed. It was at that moment that a guard stepped into the clearing we were in. "Over here! I found them!" The guard said, and FOUR more guards ran over to us. We all scrambled to our feet, and yet again, we were dodging bullets left and right.
We kept running, adrenaline keeping us from collapsing onto the ground. I watched in horror as a bullet went into Astros bad arm, but he didnt even notice since he couldant feel it. After a while, one by one, the guards ran out of ammunition. But that didn't mean the chase was up, and Astro was losing an alarming amount of blood. Since there were no longer projectiles flying at us, we turned left and right in a hope to lose the guards in the trees, but it was hopeless, there was no question of who would have to stop first. Astro's arm was still bleeding, and none of us could help him or we would all die- guns weren't the only weapons they had. It was then that Astro couldn't take any more.
He stopped running.
