Rejected "Why is the server down?" Error page

Sooooo we've all been through that time where when the server and/or forums is down, and then we try to connect to one of them, the internet straight-up slaps us in the face and shoves us out the back door.

So this is the sorta thing I mean, ever seen one of those Error pages that says something like "We'll be back up shortly!" or something - that's what I mean, but more detail as to why. For example;

Error! We're currently updating!

The server and/or forums are down at the moment, Gigo is sorry!

But, you have some really cool things to look forward to when you get back!
Take a look! :

1. cool stuff
2. ohmigod this is fantastic, stuff
3. like how, this is too good, stuff
4. ehh we didn't need this stuff as much but ok
5. unstitched's stitch suit for all??????


We'll be sure to be as quick as we can!

This slays everything. I always get this page saying "DNS Address cannot be found." I die when I see that.
Letting us forumers know that the website or server is down is a great idea!

Maybe by the Announcements section in the homepage, they can put like some sort of Server Status thing?

When the website is down it's usually not intentional and it's most often with all of our machines being down at the same time. It's difficult to host a "We're down!" message when what would host it is offline. We have no control when it comes to host issues, and the error that is displayed to you isn't provided by us nor can it be.

In the past when we've needed to shut things down to update there has been a cute graphic on the site, but lately we've been doing pretty good without the need to restart.

This isn't possible or needed for now.
